A truly delightful and well maintained site. The caravans and chalets being set in mature gardens on a site of previous historical interest. The tiered nature of the accommodations and the gardens give an 'Italianate' effect. A paradise for those who enjoy spectacular scenery in tranquil and panoramic surroundings on the perimeter of the Lyn peninsular. Each of the caravans/chalets has a private parking space adjacent to the accommodation. The main garden area is situated on the lower level of the site where you can take time out in semi tropical surroundings and relax by the centrepiece fountain. The site is now recently enhanced by a stone gate house constructed from Madryn stone. It is a site that is nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the nearby towns of Pwllheli and Nefyn, yet within close proximity to either. An absolute haven for birdwatchers (A pastime to which I am now a new recruit and convert) there are varieties of breed that I have only ever seen in the ornithologists guides. The site is surrounded by farmland which gives added pleasure to young and old alike when viewing the sheep and cattle on long or short rambles. You will be absolutely spoilt for numerous clean and well kept beaches in the local area (Nefyn is just three miles away). I have watched the seasons change at Madryn, and gained great pleasure from soaking up the summer sun, witnessing the spectacular and vibrant colours of autumn, and even the chilled wintry and gnarled landscapes of the winter. I can strongly recommend this site for relaxation and for caravan ownership. Having said this, it may not be suitable for the families of older children who may be looking for night life, the absence of which gives this site its tranquil feel and relaxing ambience.
