Corfe Castle Camping and Caravanning Club Site is a picturesque woodland site in a beautiful Dorset location and welcomes motorhomes, caravans, and tents onto our AA 4 Pennant awarded site.
Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty at the base of the Purbeck Hills. Pitches with electric hook-ups are available, with laundry, washing up, and chemical waste disposal facilities available. We also stock LPG and bottled gas for those who need it.
A children’s play area coupled with the space available makes us a great park for families and even their pets to stay at, while a convenient on-site shop means you don’t really have to leave or venture too far should you not want to. For those who are looking for a little more entertainment/adventure there are countless places to eat in Corfe Castle itself as well as Wareham and Swanage and fishing, cycling, walking, climbing, abseiling and a whole host of outdoor activities are within easy reach of site.
Corfe Castle itself is a short ten-minute walk from our site, there’s a simply stunning ruin left of the famous English Civil War outpost, and you can learn all about it at the Visitor Centre before having a look around for yourself.
We are only a short distance away from the so-called “English Riviera” and Dorset’s world-famous Heritage Coastline, with Blue Flag beaches at Studland and Swanage close to our site. Popular seaside towns including Poole, Weymouth, and Bournemouth are also just a short drive away. The South West Coastal Path passes close to the area as it heads around to Poole at the end of the route.
When you head into Poole you will also have the chance to head further afield, as ferries leave daily for Guernsey, Jersey, and Northern France, all three offering a great day out if you want to explore beyond Dorset. The New Forest National Park is just a short drive beyond Bournemouth. For those looking to find things to do in the big cities, beyond the seaside towns Southampton and Portsmouth offer more of a traditional city experience, although they too are on the coast and have beaches and stunning seaside areas in their own right.
