If you're heading for your holidays in Yorkshire and you want to enjoy the delights of Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, this campsite could be a great place for you.

The Hebden Bridge Caravan Club Site is close to the market town from which it takes its name, making it a convenient location. This quiet campsite welcomes both motorhomes and caravans to stay at its site – at least those up to 8.5 metres long. Motorhome owners will be pleased to learn that there is a motorhome waste disposal point on site, too. There are 42 pitches on site, of which 34 are hardstanding.

This is a terraced site meaning the pitches are level, plus great views are available across the surrounding countryside. There are also lots of trees and a stream, which help give the campsite a peaceful, rural, back to nature feel. It's also clean, tidy and well maintained, and welcomes well behaved dogs, if they are kept on their leads, although there is no dog walking area on the campsite.

There aren't any children's play areas at the campsite, but the natural environment within which it is set offers so much for all the family. Fishing, watersports and golf are all available nearby, and Yorkshire can be discovered on two wheels or two feet, too – indeed, the National Cycle Network passes close to the campsite.

The delightful market town of Hebden Bridge is on your doorstep at this campsite, waiting for you to explore it. There is an Arts Festival every June/July, celebrating the quirky and distinctive nature of the town – and some of the events are free. Hebden Bridge is packed with unusual and interesting places, so is well worth some of your time on your motorhome and caravan holidays. How about the antiques centre, the old fashioned picture house, or maybe you want to take a charming afternoon tea cruise?

The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway makes a great day out. It will take you about half an hour to drive there from Hebden Bridge Caravan Club Site, but will give a fun day for all the family – some of you might even recognise it from The Railway Children.

Halifax is only about 15 minutes from the campsite, so on your motorhome and caravan holidays in Yorkshire you could visit the town's ancient minster. Shibden Hall near Halifax dates back to 1420 and is surrounded by restored gardens. It will provide a peaceful day out – there is even a recreated brewhouse and inn.

In fact, Manchester is only around an hour away by car if you fancy taking in the lights of a big city on your motorhome and caravan holidays. It would certainly provide a contrast to the peace you'll find when pitched on site.

The campsite warns visitors that if they're travelling to Hebden Bridge Caravan Club Site on the M62, to not leave the motorway at junction 22, due to there being an awkward corner at the A672/A58 junction. The campsite also advises that you take care on a narrow bridge that is on the junction of the A646 and the B6138.
