Barmouth Bay Holiday Village is a beautiful family holiday destination in an idyllic location in the heart of Snowdonia National Park on the Welsh coast. Framed perfectly by the mountains of Snowdonia on one side of the park and the ocean on the other, Barmouth Bay Holiday Village is an ideal base for experiencing the majesty of the Welsh mountains.

You can choose to rent static caravans or hire holiday lodges from a good selection at the park. The self-catering holidays at Barmouth Bay Holiday Park range from basic holiday caravans to high end luxury lodge accommodation and all the units are well equipped to ensure guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

There are also holiday homes and lodges for sale at Barmouth Bay Holiday Village, so if you love this stretch of Welsh coastline and the beautiful Snowdonia National Park, you can consider buying a permanent holiday home here for regular family holidays.

While the location of the park offers plenty of opportunity to get out and about, there is much to do on-site, too. Two heated indoor pools are available, one larger pool for all guests as well as a smaller splash pool for children to play around in. There is also a large children’s play area for those preferring outdoor fun, while a multi-use sports court is ideal for football, tennis, and various other sporting activities. Large expanses of open space cater for any other ball games or activities that families are looking to enjoy.

Many walking and cycling trails wind through the park before heading out into Snowdonia or along the coast. Miles of routes, varying from challenging mountainside terrain to gentle countryside and cliff-top trails are available depending on interests and energy levels. Guests looking for a unique perspective on the area can also enjoy pony trekking from various points across Snowdonia.

The park offers direct access to the beach, which is clean, safe, and a firm favourite among families staying at Barmouth Bay Holiday Village. Organised activities often take place on the beach including beach cricket and sand castle competitions, while guests can also enjoy body surfing and other pursuits in and on the water.

A short drive into the nearby village of Barmouth will bring guests to a range of shops to stock up on essentials, as well as a number of bars and restaurants. Seafood dishes are the most popular offered owing to the coastal location, but all establishments offer something for everyone, and there is even a dedicated ice cream parlour! Guests looking to eat in their accommodation can stock up at the shop in the adjacent Sands Licensed Family Entertainment Centre.

Away from the park, guests will find a wealth of activities available across Snowdonia. Many choose to climb Mount Snowdon, though it can also be “climbed” by train and there is a great café near the top. A steam railway runs throughout Snowdonia and is a wonderful experience, offering amazing views and photo opportunities across the area.

A number of golf courses are found in the local area, while there are numerous spots to enjoy fishing, perfect for tourists looking to spend time outdoors while doing something fun and relaxing.

So if you're searching for holiday caravans to rent in Wales, lodges to rent or holiday homes to buy, Barmouth Bay Holiday Village could be just what you're looking for.
