Ideal for holidays in Devon, Hidden Valley is an award-winning family-run touring park near Ilfracombe on the county's spectacular north coast.

Bring along a touring caravan, motorhome, or tent and prepare for an unforgettable holiday in Devon. Take your pick from the Otter's Creek caravan area, with hard-standing pitches with various facilities depending on whether you pick a small, medium, large or premier option, and the grassy Kingfisher Meadow campsite where you'll also find your choice of small, medium, large or premier pitches. There's something to suit all needs and budgets with electrical and TV hook-ups, water supplies and waste disposal, and even extra like picnic benches available. The contemporary sanitary blocks feature toilets and modern shower facilities (including family and accessible shower rooms) as well as underfloor heating. Other conveniences on site include indoor dishwashing areas, a laundrette with washers and dryers, recycling points, and chemical waste disposal.

If you'd rather book accommodation on the park, make your holiday in Devon one to remember by booking a beautiful holiday lodge situated in a gorgeous woodland setting. These lodges come with all the home comforts you need and make a great place to get away from it all in this gorgeous setting

On-site facilities to make your holiday in Devon really special include the Lakeside Café and Restaurant where you can enjoy delicious meals from a varied menu (including vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options) while enjoying views across the water, or order food to take back to your accommodation. There's also an on-site shop with daily essentials, local produce, newspapers, and special treats, as well as basic camping equipment and more. There's also some fantastic kids' playgrounds for little ones to burn off their excess energy.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome at Hidden Valley Touring and Camping Park if you're looking for a pet-friendly holiday in Devon, and can run free in the wooded area (though they must be kept on a lead within the campsite itself). The lodges are also dog friendly and most of the local beaches allow dogs, as long as owners are responsible.

Look out for wildlife at Hidden Valley, from otters, stoats and field mice to a variety of birds including woodpeckers.

The park is perfect for coastal holidays in Devon and within easy reach of some famous local tunnel beaches, which have been awarded Blue Flags for cleanliness. Ilfracombe is also near to the wonderfully soft, sandy beach of Woolacombe. Hidden Valley has won several awards, including the Gold David Bellamy Conservation Award and 5 Stars by Visit England, and the AA 5 pennants. The park was also voted into the Top 100 Sites Awards by the readers of Practical Caravan and Practical Motorhome magazine.

Hidden Valley is set among rolling hills of stunning Devon countryside. Just 4 miles away are some of the country’s most prestigious beaches, including the golden sandy beach at Woolacombe, and The Tunnels Beaches in Ilfracombe, both of which are Blue Flag and Quality Coast Award winners.

The fabulous surfing beach at Croyde Bay is just 5 miles away, while Saunton Sands is just 6 miles, and is a wonderful beach for a day out with the family.

For those that want to relax, the National Trust’s Arlington Court and RHS Gardens Rosemoor are both wonderful to visit.
There are also many family attractions close by, including the Big Sheep, which is a wonderful all weather attraction, the Dinosaur Adventure park and Exmoor Zoo.

Quaint harbour towns adorn the North Devon coast line, and are a lovely place for afternoon tea, fish & chips or an ice cream. Lynton is one such town, built mainly by the Victorians and is connected to Lynmouth via a water-powered funicular railway. Ilfracombe with its picturesque harbour is home to, among others, HMS Oldenburg, which sails to Lundy Island several times a week.

Surfing is very popular at the local beaches, as well as fantastic coastal walks, excellent off-road cycle trails.
