Looking for somewhere to stay on your caravan holidays in Wales? Then why not try Bron Derw Touring Caravan Park. Visit to discover the three touring caravan parks and the self-catering apartment on the outskirts of Llanrwst between Betws-y-Coed and Llandudno, at the edge of the Snowdonia National Park in North Wales.

This is an award winning campsite that features in the Top 100 Sites Guide 2019, compiled by Caravan Sitefinder, along with Practical Caravan and Practical Motorhome magazines. In voting for this guide, visitors commended the campsite for its neat and tidy appearance, the clean shower and toilet blocks, and for the campsite's stunning location, unquestionably among the best destinations for caravan holidays in Wales.

The caravan parks and this campsite in North Wales are in private grounds near the farmhouse at Bron Derw, while the self-catering accommodation is in a private apartment in the farmhouse. And that is not all – caravan storage is also available at Bron Derw Touring Caravan Park.

This is a dog-friendly campsite, but dogs must be kept on a lead, and it welcomes guests in caravans and motorhomes, but not tents.

The main campsite at this park features 20 multi-serviced pitches with 16-amp hook-ups, as well as well-maintained shower and toilet facilities, a purpose-built disabled suite, and a baby changing area. Here you'll also find a utility room with a washing-up sink, a vegetable preparation sink, a washing machine and a dryer. There are chemical toilet disposal facilities, too, as well as a payphone and Wi-Fi. This campsite is open between March and October, ideal for scenic caravan holidays in Wales.

There is a separate site for adults only, Parc Derwen, perfect for adults seeking a quiet, relaxing holiday in North Wales. In this section of the site you'll find 23 multi-serviced pitches, also with 16-amp hook-ups, good toilet and shower facilities, a purpose-built disabled suite, and a washing machine and a dryer to keep your clothes clean. There is also a sink in which to do your washing up and somewhere to prepare your veg. Wi-Fi is available, as are seasonal pitches.

The third touring caravan site here is a CL registered site for Caravan Club members only. It is separate from the rest of the caravan park, so if you're looking for more private caravan holidays in Wales, this is just the ticket. On this section of the caravan park are five hardstanding, multi-serviced pitches, with 16-amp hook-ups, as well as TV, water and grey waste connections. If you're staying in this part of the campsite you will also have the use of showers and Wi-Fi, and there are chemical toilet disposal facilities. Dogs are permitted, but owners must remember to clean up after them.

The holiday apartment at Bron Derw provides self-catering accommodation for four people, with a double bed and two singles – towels and bed linen are provided. A TV and DVD player, a fully equipped kitchen, garden furniture and a barbecue are all supplied, plus Wi-Fi is available. Children are welcome. However, dogs are not permitted. It is a self-catering, self-contained ground floor apartment and makes a great home base from which to explore Snowdonia.

If you're on your holidays in Wales staying at Bron Derw Touring Caravan Park, you are on the doorstep of the Snowdonia National Park, meaning there are plenty of breathtaking sights to drink in. If you're brave enough you can climb Mount Snowdon, or do it the easy way and enjoy a ride on the Snowdon Mountain Railway to what is known as the rooftop of Wales.

What a wonderful site!! We stayed for 6 nights and wished it was longer, the pitches are all fully serviced and of a generous size with plenty of tidy well kept grass around each pitch. The facilities are second to none, spotless and well maintained. The site we stayed on was one of three at this location one of which has just been awarded Best CL by the caravan club. The other site is adults only which we can't wait to try in September!!!

Stayed 5 days at Bron Derw during July 2009. A small, quiet, well maintained site in an ideal position to explore North Wales. The owner was very pleasant and the facilities always clean. I will return again.

Our caravan is stored at Bronderw, The security is very good. The owners will bring your caravan round to the site for a small fee, or you can do it your self. We feel completely at home on this site with the owners being very friendly. The shower block and toilets are clean and well kept. The pitches are all hard standing and spacious and the upkeep of the sites are 1st class. There is beautiful scenery right on the door step, and we highly recommend this site. Absolutely fantastic! Lovely location, good size pitches. Toilets and showers always spotless. We visited last August and are shortly off again for a short break in a couple of weeks. Very quiet site. Short walk into town or down by the riverside. Would highly recommend this site. Can't wait to go there again soon!

we stopped here in june 2006 it must rate as one of the cleanest sites we have been to. you will often find the owners cleaning the toilets at 11 oclock at night so the people on the site would always enter a spotless area in the morning.if you have never toured around this area before, a week will not be enough as there are so many different places to see or visit and we fully intend to return in 2008.
