We have just returned from a 4 night break at thanet wells. The lodges were very clean and extremly spacious, could not fault them. I however did find them quite remote, and not much to do nearby. I would have perhaps had a better holiday had the weather been better!!! 20 minutes from Keswick and 10 mins from Penrith. Playpark spacious and great for toddlers - you just need good weather!!!
