Windy Harbour Holiday Park Blackpool, Lancashire, North of England, FY6 8NB (Location map)
1st March to 15th November
Windy Harbour Holiday Park is a four-star family holiday park just six miles from the iconic Lancashire coastal resort town of Blackpool.
The park is owned and operated by the Partington’s Holiday Parks group, and is open from early March until the middle of November. The park offers a range of accommodation options for guests, with pitches available for motorhomes, touring caravans and tents, while there are static holiday homes, lodges and camping pods available for hire, too. There is also the option to become a static home owner at Windy Harbour Holiday Park, perfect for families looking to make this popular part of Lancashire their regular holiday retreat.
All the static caravans and lodges at the park are modern and fitted with the latest conveniences and appliances, while the camping pods are heated and comfortable.
The touring pitches are all hardstanding, with pitches ranging from basic to electric only and fully serviced pitches that have electric, water and drainage hook-ups, in addition to space for an awning. A selection of the electric pitches are available as seasonal pitches.
Water and drainage points are available across the park for guests staying at a basic or electric only pitch, while chemical waste disposal points are also on hand. Additional facilities that are accessible for all guests include showers, a laundrette and Wi-Fi, while gas canister exchange can also be taken care of at the park.
There is a great deal for families to enjoy on the park, so much so that many choose to stay at Windy Harbour Holiday Park and spend all of their time on-site.
A large children’s play area provides hours of fun, while there is plenty of open space for ball games and other fun family activities. The amusement arcade and family entertainment room are perfect for rainy days, while children’s clubs are offered for kids up to the age of 16, ideal for parents looking to take their own mini-break while staying at Windy Harbour Holiday Park.
Also found at the park is a heated indoor swimming pool, a small gym and an adult only jacuzzi. At the end of a day of fun on-site or out across Lancashire, the licenced club is the place to be, with family friendly fun provided as well as an adult only room for those without kids or enjoying an evening to themselves.
The on-site café and the fish and chip shop are great for sitting down and eating or taking food back to accommodation, while the supermarket at the park means guests can self-cater and buy alcoholic beverages if they’re planning on a quiet night in.
Coarse fishing is available at the on-site pond, while guests can enjoy river fishing in the Wyre.
If you're staying here on your motorhome, camping and caravan holidays, you might like to visit Blackpool, a tourist destination well known for its multitude of attractions and exceptional beaches, with the Pleasure Beach and Sandcastle Waterpark among the most popular places to go – all this and it is just a 15- to 20-minute drive from Windy Harbour Holiday Park.
The Park is approx 6 miles from Blackpool, which of course, is world famous for its visitor attractions. Yet we are also situate in the heart of the fascinating Fylde coast, with many interesting, quaint villages to explore and only a short drive away from the Lake District National Park. You really can have the best of both worlds at Windy Harbour - The Perfect Compromise!

been here a few times now with 3 kids 5yrs 2yrs and 12mths old. PROS: are the tourers are right near the park so kids can play well we sit and relax but know where the kids are, bike hire and shop on site(friendly owner) CONS,no kids allowed in show bar,the kids club is more a tenagers club, the pool is way to small for the size of the park and no warden you can walk right of the street(or rob a car and come right throught the park at 3am)like last wkend oh and you have to be off site by 10am but other then that its ok

We go here every year with camping & caravanning club in August for 4 weeks. There is lots to do here and plenty for the children. You can let your children out of your site here, with an arcade and bike hire & outdoor play area. with great security and a club designated just for the kids so you can have a bit of peace in the adults only bar.. A disco and entertainment on every night for the kids and an artist on every night in the adults only bar. We have been going for 4 years now and still enjoy it as much as the first visit. The pool caters for all ages and last year they added a hot tub for adults only which is great. The location is great as you are between Blackpool and Preston which is great for it's markets. Give this a visit.. You will be glad you did.
