We’ve found the perfect gifts for camping enthusiasts!
Camping presents will make for a great Christmas morning surprise, so we’ve included gifts of gadgets, essentials and a touch of luxury.
1. HeroBeam® Ultimate Head Torch £14.97
We adore this lightweight torch because it has so many practical uses. We found it helped us a lot for setting up camp in the evening, night trips round the campsite, and those final walks with the dogs.
The different beam levels were so helpful with a stronger spot beam and a general wide beam.
What tipped this over the edge for us was that it is rechargeable from USB ports AND has a long battery life - no need to search for spare batteries in the middle of the night.
2. Buff Midweight Merino Wool £15.49+
This was our first Buff product, and we’re in love.
There are a variety of size and colour options (we adore the beautiful wine colour and it's perfect for the season), and find its so versatile.
It takes up so little space in the bag, and yet is beautifully soft, thanks to the high Merino Wool content.
3. Exqline Outdoor Survival Kits 12 in 1 £24.99
Be prepared for most scenarios with this complete camping and hiking kit. We like how well designed it is, with good quality items packed into a surprisingly small space.
It's a good compromise on size whilst still providing essential items in good quality.
The multi function bracelet was particularly well appreciated.
4. VINTONEY Clothes Line Washing Line £8.49
The first year we went camping in our campervan, we didn’t pack any way to dry our clothes. The memory of damp socks prevails and now I never leave home without a clothes line.
This one has handy hooks at each end, and no shortage of pegs included (and there are two in a pack for hanging up your family's clothes too).
It expands up to 10 feet which is perfect for our towels and clothes, but it comes in a tiny package, perfect for travelling light.
5. Outdoor Strip Light Lantern £6.99
These work well in so many scenarios, for camping and at home! The LED lights provide a decent level of light, all powered by a USB powerpack or charger.
Comes with handy magnets for attaching to the van and clips for attaching to anything else, making it easy to place in the perfect location.
We liked it so much we bought another one for our shed.
6. Bedsure Throw Double Blanket £15.99+
I do like my creature comforts, even when I’m in the campervan. This feels like a luxurious item, but at a fraction of the price.
It is a super soft blanket in a variety of sizes and colours, but the best bit is the sensation of lying in a warm cloud whilst in the van or on the sofa at home. Love it.
Wouldn’t leave home without it.
7. Premium Waterproof Bag £13.99+
This bag comes in a variety of sizes, from 10 litres to 30 litres in a variety of fun colours, perfect for your camping enthusiast.
While we can’t guarantee the weather, it’s vital to guarantee that our camping gear, valuables and electronics stay dry.
We loved the fun colours (particularly the yellow so you’re visible when out and about).
8. OTTER Waterproof socks for MEN & WOMEN £20.99+
No Christmas would be complete without a pair of socks in the stocking.
But you’d seriously wow your camping loved one with these seriously impressive Otter socks.
Cute logo aside, these are great at wicking water away from the feet, but preventing water coming back in leaving you with soggy feet.
We love the colour options and know these will delight any campers who step foot in the wilderness.
Adults and children alike will adore these extendable marshmallow sticks.
The colour is really attractive making it perfect for a Christmas gift, and it's safely designed to stop the heat transfering to your hands.
Keep those little fingers away from the flames, and no need to even turn your hands for even cooking - it rotates itself. Wonderful!
10. THE NORTH FACE
Ladies Thermoball Jacket £79-£284
Mens Thermoball Jacket £105-£478
I adore North Face, and particular, I love this jacket. This jacket is perfect for Spring walking, with the right amount of insulation when the chill starts. It comes in a selection of colours, great for being seen when out and about.
Of course this isn’t just for camping, it’s smart enough to wear for most occasions, making it a truly wearable purchase and well worth the price.
No matter what Christmas Camping Gift you choose for your loved ones this year, the team at Caravan Sitefinder wish you happy holidays, and a joyful 2020. ♥
