On Thursday 4th February 2016 we visited The Scottish Caravan, Motorhome & Holiday Home Show at the SECC, Glasgow

Walking down the red carpet

The Caravan Sitefinder team had great fun checking out what was on offer when we recently attended The Scottish Caravan, Motorhome & Holiday Home Show in Glasgow. During our time at the event we met many of our existing clients and also spoke to a lot of new ones.

There were two hundred exhibitors and a whole host of industry experts over the four day event. Stands at the show ranged from camping equipment/tools to different rental companies. The show is the perfect place for visitors to experience all of the fantastic holidaying in Scotland can offer as many people are choosing to holiday at home instead of travelling abroad.

The Scottish Caravan, Motorhome & Holiday Home Show was held in the SECC Glasgow and ran from Thursday 4th February to Sunday 7th February attracting many different kinds of visitors. The event showcased some of the latest models of Caravan & Motorhome. There was a separate family camping area where visitors could explore new tent collections from brands such as Vango, Kampa and Outwell as well as high quality camping accessories. There was a number of clubs and associations and holidays across of the UK.

Turnout and Venue

Day one of the show had a very strong turnout in visitors as well as exhibitors which lead to a great amount of exposure for all parks and manufacturers. The venue was placed throughout five halls inside the SECC, Glasgow each encompassing a different domain of the camping and caravanning industry.

If you're just getting in to motorhoming but don't have a vehicle yet, Motorhome Hire Scotland is a great place to get you started. They were in attendance of the show and we stopped by their stand to have a chat.

Whilst in the SECC we managed to get access into one of the top balconies. Here are some more pictures from the event:
