Stoupe Cross Farm Caravan Park is a family friendly holiday park found on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, a short distance from the centre of the popular seaside town of Whitby. The park offers holiday cottages and holiday homes for guests to enjoy the very best in comfort during their stay.

Guests can see Whitby Abbey from the site and can get there with a short five minute walk, while the famous 199 steps leading down to the beach are also close by. Activities that guests can enjoy close by include fishing, horse riding, and golf, while there are also plenty of places to enjoy ball games, including tennis, while fun activities like bowling and indoor swimming are also on offer for the whole family.

In town, there is plenty for tourists to see and do as well as the Abbey. As well as being home to a selection of shops and great places to eat and drink, there are museums, sculptures, and the typical attractions you find at a seaside town like amusements, fairground rides, and more.

Whitby beach is one of the most popular beaches in Britain and is great for relaxing on the sand as well as swimming and paddling. Other activities also take place on the water throughout the year, with fun provided for the whole family.

Away from Whitby and the coastline, guests are encouraged to check out the whole of the North York Moors. There are miles of beautiful countryside and woodland walks to be enjoyed, while activities are offered all across the Moors, with a Go Ape centre among the most popular family tourist attractions to be found in the area.

Visit the North York Moors Railway, too. This is a popular attraction in the area and it makes a great day out, while a little further away the stunning Castle Howard is found in the Howardian Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Guests looking to stay closer to the coast have a wide range of destinations to choose from. Scarborough and Bridlington are two of the best seaside towns on the coast. Both are thriving and have a range of shopping and leisure experiences on offer. Guests also love discovering the lesser heralded villages and other points along the coastal road, all offering a generous welcome and plenty to do.

Those who plan to head inland won’t be disappointed, either. As well as visiting Castle Howard, many guests choose to visit York, a town rich in history and heritage. During your holidays you'll be able to enjoy the wide range of attractions in York, designed for everyone to enjoy. Don't miss York Castle Museum, the York Dungeon, and the National Railway Museum.

York also has several open parks and there are a number of popular walks that you can enjoy through the city that take you alongside the River Ouse. If you enjoy relaxing on tourist boats, the river bus services in York offer a unique way to see the city. Guests should also spend time travelling through the North York Moors and surrounding area, discovering the country market towns and villages for themselves.
