Chester Fairoaks Caravan Club Site is an exceptional family holiday destination, close to the coast in the heart of Cheshire. The park is open all through the year and welcomes members and non-members of The Caravan Club.

This campsite has 100 pitches in total, 85 of which are hardstanding, welcoming guests with touring caravans and motorhomes. There is also space for four tents, while facilities at the park include motorhome waste disposal, Wi-Fi, a toilet block and a laundrette.

There is plenty of open space on the site for families to enjoy ball games and other activities, while designated space is also available for dog walking at this dog friendly campsite. The park is within five miles of the National Cycle Network as well as a number of excellent golf courses and fishing locations.

Chester Fairoaks Caravan Club Site is close to both the River Mersey and to the River Dee. Both rivers have miles of walking and cycling routes running alongside them, with excellent views provided across the river and out to sea. The views offered of Liverpool and North Wales from the rivers are beautiful and definite photo opportunities.

Chester itself is a charming, quaint city, popular with guests that enjoy walking the perimeter of the ancient city walls as much as discovering the diverse range of attractions found there. There are plenty of shops, cafés, bars and restaurants as well as museums and great parks where children can run around and play. There's also a zoo, which makes for a great day out when you visit Chester.

But if you've pitched at Chester Fairoaks you could also visit Liverpool – it will only take you about half an hour to drive there and it's a fantastic city with a thriving cultural scene. Famous for its historic success related to sports and to music, there is always a museum to visit in the city, or even a pub, club, or a humble house with a great story and heritage behind it. The Albert Docks, the Liver Building and the cathedral are among the city's sights.

Chester sits right on the English/Welsh border. The border is known for its charming market towns and small villages, and several of them are within easy reach for tourists staying at Chester Fairoaks Caravan Club Site. For those not looking to spend all their time in the area in the countryside, the North Wales coast road can easily be joined from the park. The popular holiday spot of Rhyl can be reached in under an hour, although there are several smaller towns and villages tourists may choose to visit along the way.

Many of the towns of the North Wales coast have a healthy fishing industry, with fresh seafood always on offer both at markets and in the restaurants of these locations. Great beaches, along with traditional seaside attractions like amusement arcades and funfair rides, also await those who visit Wales.

Guests that don’t mind driving a little further can head into the Midlands, to the Peak District National Park, which has some wonderful outdoor attractions as well as providing a gateway to some lovely towns and cities in that part of the country.
