Fron Caravan & Camping Park is a beautiful, four-star family run park set in five-and-a-half acres of well-landscaped gardens on the picturesque Isle of Anglesey in north west Wales. The park welcomes guests with tents, motorhomes, and touring caravans. There are electric hook ups available along with park-wide chemical waste disposal points and water dispensing points.

There are some concrete hardstanding pitches for caravans and motorhomes, and they have grass beside them for the awnings. Some of these have a slight slope, so please take levelling blocks for your motorhome. There are also many level pitches on closely mown grass.

Pitches are 10 square metres in size, so if you have a really huge pod-like dome tent, please check the dimensions and give the park a ring in advance to see if they can accommodate you for the dates you have in mind.

Additional facilities include showers (coin operated, 20p-40p), washbasins and toilets, shaver points, hairdryers, a laundrette, freezer pack service (10p), battery recharging service if needed, and a handy on-site shop stocking groceries and camping essentials, including camping gas.

The family members are always happy to help if you need assistance pitching or getting around the park. You can get wheelchairs into the shop, where there is help available. There is a wheelchair accessible disabled toilet facility with seated shower, toilet and washbasin with grab rails throughout. The door to this toilet is 810mm wide.

There is plenty for the whole family to do at Fron Caravan & Camping Park, with a dome covered swimming pool open during the high season, an adventure playground, and loads of open space both on the site and in the immediate area around Fron Caravan & Camping Park for dog walking, ball games, and more.

The park is an ideal base for exploring the sights and attractions of Anglesey and North Wales. From your base at Fron Caravan & Camping Park you could even drive to Holyhead and take the fast ferry across the Irish Sea for an exciting day trip to Dublin if you wish to.

Closer to the park, visit Anglesey Sea Zoo for a wonderful day out for the whole family. This is a particular favourite with young children, as is the nearby Butterfly Palace. The area is famed for its open farms where tourists can go for a look around and even get involved with farm life. Many of these farm attractions have petting areas, so you can take your children to meet and feed the animals.

Visit Anglesey and you'll be able to see a wide range of historic sites and monuments close by, as well as country estates that are open to tourists throughout the year.

The north of Wales is well known for its beautiful coastline, and the park is close to a coastal path offering miles of stunning walks, as well as access to countryside and woodland trails. Most of the trails in the area are accessible by bicycle as well as on foot, and there is always something new to discover around the area. Despite being a busy and popular region for tourists and those that live close by, the beaches of Anglesey are often found deserted.

Fron Caravan & Camping Park is ideally situated for active family holidays and breaks for anyone who wants to enjoy outdoor pursuits. Activities on offer within reach of the park include horse riding, kayaking, climbing, and abseiling. Guests who prefer to try sports that are a little more relaxing can go sea fishing by the shore or go river fishing at one of the many river systems nearby. There is even the possibility of taking the boat out to sea for some more exciting sea fishing. If you enjoy combining camping with golfing holidays, it's good to know that there are also many golf courses close by if you seek easy days of tranquillity practising your golfing skills.

Visit Snowdonia National Park if you would like to explore mountains and the miles of lush parkland and countryside. Walking up Mount Snowdon itself is a challenge even to the most physically fit individual. Luckily for many months of the year you have the option of taking the mountain railway to the little café at the top!

If you like seaside holidays, visit the towns of north Wales, including Colwyn Bay and Rhyl, which are easy to reach and filled with their own range of activities and attractions, too.
