Wilksworth Farm Caravan Park is a picturesque and quiet campsite in Dorset, found close to the popular market town of Wimborne Minster. The park is the perfect place to head if you are looking for a relaxing holiday retreat away from it all, surrounded by beautiful countryside.
This caravan park is family and dog friendly. The site welcomes guests with tents, touring caravans and motorhomes, and two types of pitch are available. The first, the standard pitch, is a grass pitch with an electric hook-up, and can be used by all guests. The other option is a fully serviced pitch for those who've brought caravans and motorhomes – these are hardstanding pitches providing individual water and drainage hook-ups, as well as electric. There are also holiday homes for sale at this Dorset campsite.
In addition, the park has a range of facilities available for guests to use.
There is lots to do on site at Wilksworth Farm Caravan Park. There is a popular heated outdoor pool, with an adjoining junior pool and fountain, as well as full size and junior tennis courts. Younger visitors will be sure to enjoy themselves in the children's play area, which in addition to climbing frames and slides has a BMX track, a football pitch, a volleyball court and outdoor table tennis. There is also a dog walking area.
Pitch here on your motorhome tours and camping and caravan holidays in Dorset and you'll be only a five-minute drive from Wimborne Minster, making it convenient for a meal out or a spot of shopping. The Minster itself is well worth some of your time, while the Wimborne Minster Model Town and Gardens will give you an interesting day out.
Poole and Sandbanks
Why not head to the coast? Both Poole and Bournemouth are about half an hour from Wilksworth Farm Caravan Park by car. Poole Harbour is lovely, as are Bournemouth's beach and pier. Oceanarium, the Bournemouth aquarium, is a super day out for the whole family and the Bournemouth Balloon will give you fantastic views over the town and along the coast, weather permitting.
The New Forest is also easy to get to from this campsite – Lyndhurst, in the heart of this ancient forest, is only about a 40-minute drive from Wilksworth Farm. Or how about a day out in Beaulieu? It's about an hour from this campsite and has an abbey and the famous motor museum. There are also lots of delightful country pubs where you can enjoy a fine local ale and many tearooms where you'll struggle to resist a cream tea. Then why not burn off a few of those calories with a walk through this pretty and pretty undisturbed part of England.

we visited over may bank holiday weekend
if I had wanted to be stuffed so tightly, I would approach John West for a place in a can of sardines.
Come tuesday the park was empty - and fine - hot showers, good facilities
-but avoid bank hols like the plague!
dont like your score system as facilities great -5*, but overcrowding 1*

Stayed here many times with the family, and found it to always be very clean adn in a lovely location. Kids love the pool, and with the choice of statics or touring you get a range of holiday makers. On site facilities are excellent from barn style restaurant / cafe to freshly supplied croissants etc.
