Rudding Holiday Park Harrogate, North Yorkshire, North of England, HG3 1JH (Location map)
1 March to 31 January
With a range of accommodation options and private parkland for you to enjoy, Rudding Holiday Park is a lovely place at which to spend your holidays in North Yorkshire.
The family friendly campsite at Rudding Holiday Park has pitches for tents and touring caravans. There are serviced grass caravan and camping pitches that are either the standard size (10m square) or large (18m by 10m), plus there are 9m square, hardstanding pitches for caravans with waste and water connections as well as a grassy space for an awning. In addition, Rudding Holiday Park offers supersite caravan pitches, again with waste and water connections, but which have been designed to give guests more privacy – they each have a picnic table, too. There are also some seasonal pitches.
Guests are invited to use the campsite's amenity block and washroom facilities. There are toilets, basins and showers, including some with access for disabled visitors, baby changing and baby bathing facilities, sockets for hairdryers and shavers, and washing machines and tumble dryers. There's also somewhere to do your washing up, as well as Elsan disposal points. There is an on-site shop, too.
This is a dog friendly campsite and there's an area in which you can exercise them. However, while in the park, please keep your furry companions on a lead and clear up after them, using the bins provided.
If you're looking for self catering accommodation in Yorkshire, Rudding Holiday Park has a few options. There are cute country cottages, chalet lodges which sleep between two and five people, and also stunning, luxury lodges, with a stylish modern finish and the advantage of being close to the facilities at Rudding Park Hotel – some of the luxury lodges even have a hot tub or sauna.
Last but by no means least, you can buy a holiday home at Rudding Holiday Park. There are a range of holiday homes for sale, all with a lovely, woodland setting, to suit all budgets. How about a static holiday home, or maybe you'd rather buy a cosy timber lodge, or perhaps a two- or three-bedroom luxury lodge? There's plenty of choice.
Rudding Holiday Park has a great range of facilities to help you enjoy your camping and caravan holidays in Yorkshire. The Deer House is the on-site family pub. Take a break from cooking and enjoy the pub's extensive menu of homemade food. The pub also hosts quizzes, entertainment and shows sporting events on the TV. It also has a games room, where you can play table tennis, table football or pool. Nearby you will find the children's adventure playground as well as the outdoor, heated swimming pool. Rudding Park Hotel is close, too, with its restaurant, terrace and bar, giving you more options. Also at the hotel are a spa and a 14-seat private cinema. Like golf? There are two golf courses on site, an 18-hole course and a six-hole course, in 300 acres of mature parkland.

My friends and I stay at this park every year when we attend the Great Yorkshire Show. We have been several times and have never been disappointed. A beautiful site but great facilities. Suitable for all - groups, couples and families. Staff very friendly and helpful, always allowing us the same pitch each year! Very clean and tidy park. Not the cheapest park around but definately worth every penny. A very big site but well laid out so you have your privacy. Fabulous site, definately worth a visit!
