Middlewood Farm Holiday Park is a five-star family holiday park close to Robin Hood’s Bay on the North Yorkshire coast, within the North York Moors National Park. It is about a 15-minute drive from Whitby and around a half hour drive from Scarborough. In addition, this park has been awarded with a David Bellamy Gold Award for conservation.
You'll find a wide range of accommodation options at Middlewood Farm Holiday Park. There are some well-maintained and fully equipped holiday homes for hire, while guests looking to enjoy a glamping experience can do so in the beautiful camping pods offered at the site.
A large number of pitches are suitable for motorhomes, touring caravans and campervans, with these available 11 months of the year, from early February until early January. The camping field at Middlewood Farm Holiday Park is separate from the touring area, and is open from March until October every year.
All of the touring and motorhome pitches are serviced with an electric hook-up, and most of them are hardstanding. Electric hook-ups are also available for a number of camping guests staying in tents on the separate field.
There are two modern washrooms, with showers, baths, toilet cubicles, and shaver and hairdryer points, plus a washing up area and a laundry room. Also on site is an adventure play park that is always popular with little ones, while there is also a separate grass area that's perfect for ball games and other activities.
The Great Griddler is a takeaway food facility found at the park entrance. This is open all day so you can enjoy something to eat, with everything from early morning bacon sandwiches to scampi and chips, curry and burgers later in the day.
The nearest pub is just a five-minute walk from the site and is on the outskirts of Robin Hood’s Bay, while a convenience store is also close by, handy if you need to top up your supplies when you are self catering.
One of the big plus points of staying here at Middlewood Farm Holiday Park is that you're just a 10-minute walk from the beach and Robin Hood's Bay, making it a great spot for family seaside holidays.
As we've said, if you want to visit Scarborough, it's only around a half hour drive from this campsite, so it's easy to get to. Families will love the beach, enjoying fish and chips and ice cream as they walk along the shore. There's also an amusement arcade. Or you might like to go to see a show at the Scarborough Open Air Theatre, take the kids to the Scarborough Sea Life Sanctuary or wander round Scarborough Castle.
Of course, as Middlewood Farm Holiday Park is in the North York Moors National Park, you might well want to explore this area. It's a super place for people who love walking holidays, cycling or mountain biking. If you want to take it easy by fishing, birdwatching or wildlife watching, there are plenty of opportunities to do that, or get your heart racing with some water sports, fell running, horse riding, rock climbing and geocaching – or head to Go Ape!
Make the most of your camping and caravan holidays in North Yorkshire and stay at Middlewood Farm, where you'll receive a warm welcome.
