Burnt House Holiday Park is a beautiful family run location, found inside the North York Moors National Park, a short distance from the North Sea coast and the popular tourist resort of Whitby.

The park offers a collection of permanent holiday homes, although seasonal pitches are available for guests with touring caravans that are looking to use the site.

Burnt House Holiday Park is a family friendly location and also welcomes pets. There are plenty of open spaces for children and pets to enjoy on-site, as well as a play area for the little ones.

The park offers a range of facilities to ensure guests have a comfortable stay. A toilet and shower block is available for touring guests, along with a dishwashing facility, a laundrette and a fridge freezer. There is a leisure room that has comfortable seating, a pool table and a table tennis table, as well as a selection of books and magazines that can be read in the facility or taken back to your accommodation on a short term loan basis. Guests looking to treat themselves during their stay will also enjoy spending time in the on-site beauty salon, which offers a wide range of treatments.

Guests will find a number of country pubs and restaurants a short distance from the park, all of which are family friendly. Most of the pubs serve food all through the day, while guests looking for breakfast can take the short drive into Whitby or one of the other nearby towns and villages, which all have a selection of cafés and other eateries.

For activities and attractions away from the park, the nearest beaches are found five miles away. Whether you just want to go paddling or swimming, you're in luck. Maybe you'd like to go fishing? And at some locations and depending on the weather, you might want to have a go at windsurfing and kiteboarding.

Explore the North York Moors on your caravan holidays and you'll find many things to do. Go walking, horse riding or jump on your bike, try fell running or road running, go sailing, windsurfing, fishing, surfing or canoeing, or enjoy a round of golf on your holidays. Rock climbing, geocaching, gliding and husky trekking are also available in the area. There's also a Go Ape! centre to really get all the family active. Or maybe you fancy taking a ride on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, chugging through stunning landscapes in a steam engine, stopping at idyllic rural stations.

And there's more to the region's seaside towns than just the beaches. About a 20-minute drive from this holiday park you'll find Whitby. Visit Whitby Museum, Whitby Abbey, the Captain Cook Memorial Museum and the Museum of Victorian Science. Or head to Scarborough which is only about a 50-minute drive away where you'll discover the Military Adventure Park as well as the Scarborough Sea Life Sanctuary.
