Lordine Court is a caravan and camping facility in the Sussex countryside near Hastings, set in its own grounds around a cluster of Wealden oast houses, typical of this part of Southern England and which now form our Four Oasts Clubhouse.
We offer a well-run site for campers, caravanners and those who wish to relax in holiday homes in a tranquil setting, which is nevertheless within easy reach of ancient inland rural villages like Robertsbridge, the famous spa town of Tunbridge Wells, bustling seaside Hastings on the Channel coast, quaint Rye, and a number of historic castles and other sites.

My wife and I stayed for almost two weeks at Lordine Court during September 2008 with our touring caravan. So an out of season stay. It is a quiet, secluded site, and we were given a good position with water, power and drainage all on our pitch, and handy for the shower block and the bar/cafe, which we did not use but which looked OK and has been favourably reviewed elsewhere. We agree with many reviewers on other sites that the helpful, friendly staff are badly let down in two ways (1) the state of the loos, which stink and are derelict and (2) the bizarre warnings and prohibitions including one (in the gents) warning that people urinating in the hand basins will be asked to leave. Also in the gents a door warning "Authorised personnel only beyond this point". It is a broom cupboard. You see what I mean? As for the pool - there are two sandwich boards needed to display a crazy list of rules barring everything except swimming. It's all rather silly, given that the staff are so nice. A pleasant enough stay, but we would not revisit unless assured that the loos have been upgraded.
Best tip: Visit the Castle Inn, in nearby Bodiam for well above average pub food and atmosphere.
