Deeside Holiday Park

Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire

Deeside Holiday Park is a peaceful and friendly park set in the Southern valley of the River Dee and only a few miles from Aberdeen. The park welcomes motorhomes, touring caravans and tents on fully serviced pitches. For additional home-from-home comfort throughout the year, holidaymakers can choose to stay in a luxurious self-catering lodge or a modern caravan holiday home, a deluxe ensuite glamping pod or well-appointed timber camping pod.

The park is perfectly located for exploring the North-East and Royal Deeside. Many of the best features of Scotland are to be discovered and enjoyed in this region. The majestic River Dee flows past several castles, Balmoral among them, and offers some of the finest salmon fishing. In some places, you can even see salmon jumping as they try to move against the current. Imagine our ancestors celebrating events or perhaps simply marking the passing of the seasons with a visit to the atmospheric stone circles found near the town of Banchory.

We have just come back from a fantastic week at Deeside Holiday Park. It was an immaculate place with plenty of pitches available. We arrived on a Monday and left on a Friday so it was relatively quiet.
There was an outdoor play area for children young and old. Also, there was an indoor facility with seating and games. I could see that there was a large screen T.V. on the wall, plenty to amuse teens too.
The park employees were so friendly who also went out of his way to help with a problem we experienced with our van. This made our stay even more relaxed.
I cannot recommend this park enough.
Stone haven is only 20 minutes away with a quaint little harbour and stoney beach.
Aberdeen is also about 20 minutes away with a small amusement park and sandy beach. Great for all the family.
I do recommend taking a trip to Dunnottar Castle..
Another great stay at another Woods Group site!!!

We visited Deeside with friends for a two night stay. We were camping with two tents. Four adults and six children. I would like to highly recommend this site to anyone looking for somewhere to camp. This was a return visit having been delighted with the site last year. The standards are high, site very well maintained, toilet block immaculate best we have seen! There is a nice local Inn next door for a meal out and access good for surrounding attractions. Good value for money all round great experience again!

This is one of my local sites to visit and to be honest we like to keep this one quiet because it is not far away from Aberdeen and Deeside the hospitality on the site is very good and open all year round this is where we go in the off season,Brilliant>
