Little Bodieve

This Cornish campsite has a collection of self-catering caravans as well as a number of motorhomes for sale, while guests are welcome to pitch with their own motorhomes, touring caravans or tents. The main field at Little Bodieve is gently sloping, offering great views of the surrounding area.

Most pitches have electric hook-ups, but you're encouraged to book in advance, so as to avoid disappointment. Guests at Little Bodieve will also have the use of the amenities block with showers, basins and toilets, a laundrette, a washing up area and chemical waste disposal points. This is also a dog friendly campsite, so you can take your furry friends on holiday with you – and there is a generous dog exercise area.

There's also plenty to get involved with on site. The heated outdoor swimming pool at Little Bodieve is in a wonderful sun trap, with picnic benches surrounding the pool area so families can relax and enjoy picnics in the sunshine, while a small splash pool is ideal for little ones. There is also an indoor heated swimming pool and a full leisure complex at this campsite, with a gym with cardio and weights equipment, as well as squash courts. Across the road from Little Bodieve there are tennis courts, which guests can also use during their stay here.

Children love the generously sized play area at Little Bodieve, which features themed climbing frames and swings with dinosaurs, bears and other animals. Competitive families are able to hit the mini golf course and try to break par, or leave the kids to play amongst themselves.

Little Bodieve also has an on-site shop where guests can stock up on groceries and refreshments, including alcoholic beverages, while holiday essentials such as inflatables for the pool can be bought here, too. Freshly baked bread and pastries are also available daily from the shop.

Fancy a night off cooking? Then you can head to the on-site bar and restaurant, which serves a wide range of food and drink. There is a charming beer garden for families looking to relax outside, while the games room should keep everyone busy, with live entertainment provided throughout the summer months.

Beach holidays in Cornwall are very popular and those pitching at Little Bodieve will not be disappointed. Why not try the beaches at Rock and Polzeath – and if relaxing and building sand castles isn't enough, you could try surfing, too. Dartmoor National Park and the world famous Eden Project are both just a short drive away.
