We found this to be a great family friendly, well kept and peaceful site. Amenities were good - the two shower blocks were clean and had plenty of hot water. The kids loved the play park, fishing for tiddlers in the burn at the back of the site, and also the friendly donkeys in the field next to the tents. Rabbits, birdsong and the rolling border hills in all directions made this a tranquil haven for the weekend.
Other amenities included an on site shop with accessories, a baby room, a games room and also a dedicated dog walking area.
Peebles is an easy walk away, and has lots of lovely wee shops, cafes and restaurants. There are many good walks, and the river walk to Neidpath Castle was beautiful. Lots of interesting places nearby.
Definitely be back later on in the year.
