Ardmair Point Caravan & Camping Park is a popular holiday destination a short drive north of the popular fishing village of Ullapool, in Scotland. The park sits in a wonderful location right on the beach, with direct access to the sands. The park itself offers deluxe chalets, lodges, and one permanent holiday home, as well as having a separate area for motorhomes, touring caravans, and tents.
Ardmair Point offers a selection of hard standing and grass pitches, with electric hook ups available at most of them. Additional facilities for guests to use at the park include heated shower and toilet blocks, a laundrette, a washing up area and fresh water standpipes. There is also a chemical waste disposal point, while guests are permitted to take their dogs to Ardmair Point Caravan & Camping Park at no extra charge.
A well-stocked shop found on the site means guests never have far to travel whatever their shopping needs. As well as selling essential groceries guests can also pick up camping and fishing equipment, including camping gas, as well as a range of local guides and maps for guests looking to get inspired with things to do and places to visit. Guests will also find a small coffee shop where they can pick up food and drink during their stay, and spend as much time as they wish relaxing and watching the world go by in this wonderful location.
The park has a private pier from which guests can launch boats should they own them and have them at the site with them, while fishing is also available, both on the beach as well as from other points around and close to Ardmair Point Caravan & Camping Park. The bays around the caravan park are well sheltered, with several great locations available for exploring and anchoring for a relaxing day on the water fishing or otherwise.
Guests can also visit the nearby Isle Martin on their own boat, although there is a ferry that runs from Ullapool during the summer months for those without boats.
This campsite would make an excellent base for golfing holidays in Scotland, walking holidays in the Highlands or mountain biking adventure holidays.
Keen golfers won’t be surprised to learn there is a world class golf course nearby, and with Scotland being the home of golf guests don’t have to travel far to find other brilliant facilities in the area. A day’s golf in the area is often as amazing for the views on offer as much as the golf itself.
With the Highlands right on the doorstep of the park, guests looking to explore the outdoors will find plenty of opportunities to do so. The terrain is challenging so exploration on foot is usually recommended, although physically fit guests often head out on mountain bikes.
Ullapool itself is a wonderful town where guests can easily spend a full day. The town combines its history and authenticity as a fishing village with modern shops, including a supermarket, while there are also independent bookstores, a salmon smokehouse, and many more places to visit.
A stay at Ardmair Point Caravan & Camping Park is an opportunity to enjoy stunning landscape and access to a range of amazing activities and places, and offers a memorable experience for the whole family.
This peaceful location makes an ideal base for those interested in:- bird watching, seal and otter spotting, fishing, climbing, hill walking, boating and diving.

This is the most spectacular site we have ever stayed on. We woke up each morning to a beautiful view over the loch with a sprinkling of snow on the mountain tops. The showers were lovely and hot and very clean as was the whole site. The whole experience was enhanced by the friendly staff who were available and always ready to chat and help.
