Caolasnacon Caravan & Camping Park

Kinlochleven, Highlands

Enquire Now You enquired

Caolasnacon Caravan & Camping Park is nestled in an idyllic setting on the south shore of Loch Leven in the beautiful Scottish Highlands. It is surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery, some of the best in the United Kingdom. Caolasnacon Caravan & Camping Park is an AA recommended site and is also CCGBI approved. It features 18 static caravans to let plus ample space for tents and can take up to 50 touring caravans. The proprietor, Patsy Cameron, and her team will be pleased to welcome you and will do their best to make your stay truly enjoyable.

Loch Leven lends itself superbly to boating, fishing and water-sports. The shingle beach makes launching your own boat a simple task. The spacious loch stretches from Kinlochleven to Glencoe with mountains of grandeur on both sides, at times reflecting on a sea of glass. For those who would rather keep their feet on the ground Caolasnacon is a superb centre for climbing or hill-walking. Wildlife abounds in the immediate vicinity and the owners are particularly proud of their resident Golden Eagles.

Much care has been taken to blend Caolasnacon Caravan & Camping Park into its surroundings and it has the advantage of being off the beaten track, while at the same time being an ideal centre for exploring the immediate area. The legendary Glencoe, scene of the famous massacre, is only 3 miles away. You can also choose to venture further afield and partake in various activities such as mountain climbing, skiing at Glencoe or Aonach Mor (Scotland’s newest ski resort), Salmon, Trout and general fishing on one of the many nearby lochs, sightseeing and shopping in Fort William, Inverness or Oban.
