Whitehills Caravan Park is located around two miles to the west of Banff, and is an ideal location for a relaxing holiday by the seaside, open from April to October. It offers a small number of holiday homes to rent, as well as a larger number of permanent dwellings that can be purchased outright by holidaymakers who visit Whitehills and fall in love with the area. The park was founded in 1978 and has been a popular, family owned park in all of the years since.

The park has panoramic views of the Moray Firth. Visitors can explore castles and royal homes as well as distilleries. You can even access the Cairngorms National Park, which is just a one-hour drive from the park, and features a number of excellent trails that are accessible on foot, or by bicycle for those feeling extra energetic. Skiing facilities exist in the local area, too. Those who enjoy golf have several golf courses to choose from, including inland courses or cliff top ones in the surrounding areas. On a clear day, you can view the hills of Caithness.

Those seeking adventure can also hope to sight the Moray Firth dolphins, which are the bottle nosed colonies seen around the British coast. A boat can be taken to get up close and personal with these fascinating creatures, but equally they can be viewed from the shore with a good pair of binoculars. There is plenty for holidaymakers to do in the nearby area, with opportunities for fishing, swimming, and cycling all available just a short distance from the park.

Whether you are looking for a secluded location for a peaceful weekend away, or are looking for a permanent holiday base set in some of the most beautiful landscape in Scotland, Whitehills Caravan Park ticks every box.

super site. I hadn`t stayed in a caravan for more than 40 years and was very impressed with the one I was allocated. Wardens were great. local walks superb and excellent restaurant a few minutes walk away. Fish and chip shop also very good! When I was there it was very quiet which was what I was looking for, so I had a really good holiday.

Our family have had our own caravan for eight years but have been coming to the caravan park for over 20 years. We all enjoy lengthy holidays over the season making use of the local attractions ie the well maintained playpark and local beach. Our six daughters enjoyed their time at Whitehills and now our 10 grandchildren are having the time of their lives. Grace, Sid and Alistair are always very welcoming and are at hand to help at any time and always go that extra mile. We would recommend Whitehills Caravan Park to anyone and everyone.

Wonderful scenery and great play area for children. Park is well laid out and maintained and is spotless. Our caravan was well equipped and very clean. What really made the holiday this year was the wonderful welcome from the new wardens Grace and Sid. They were wonderful and I can't praise them highly enough. Nothing was too much bother and they were so friendly and helpful it made the holiday. Our granddaughter has adopted them as new Aunt and Uncle. We look forward to our third visit. Granny D
