Looe Country Park – Peaceful Caravan Park & Campsite in Cornwall

Welcome to Looe Country Park, a four-star, award-winning holiday park in South East Cornwall, formerly known as Polborder House. This small and friendly park offers a peaceful escape just outside the charming fishing town of Looe, with stunning views over the Cornish countryside. Perfect for couples, families, and pet owners, Looe Country Park is the ideal base to explore Cornwall’s south coast.

The park is home to five well-equipped static caravan holiday homes as well as spacious pitches for tents, touring caravans, motorhomes and campervans. Many pitches are divided by hedges and fencing for extra privacy, with both grass and hardstanding touring pitches available. Fully serviced pitches include electric hook-up, water and drainage, with a chemical disposal point on-site.

Facilities at Looe Country Park are designed to make your stay comfortable and stress-free. Guests enjoy a modern heated shower and toilet block with free hot water, hairdryers and shaving points, plus a well-equipped laundry with coin-operated washer and dryer. There’s also a vegetable preparation and dishwashing area, Calor Gas and Camping Gaz sales, and a handy on-site shop stocked with everyday essentials. Free Wi-Fi is available across the park.

Families will find a small play area and games field for children, while those seeking peace will appreciate the absence of a noisy bar or clubhouse. This is a truly quiet caravan park in Cornwall that focuses on relaxation, quality facilities and personal service.

Looe Country Park is superbly located between Looe and Seaton beaches, making it easy to enjoy Cornwall’s spectacular coastline. Popular day trips include the world-famous Eden Project, the historic Jamaica Inn, and the picturesque fishing villages of Polperro, Downderry and Seaton. Guests are also within reach of the stunning Rame Peninsula, known as Cornwall’s “Forgotten Corner,” with its tidal creeks, cliff-top walks, hidden cafés and unspoilt beaches.

For those visiting in September, Looe Live Festival offers three days of live music and entertainment right on the seafront.

If you’re looking for a small, friendly and dog-friendly campsite in Looe, with easy access to beaches, walking routes and Cornish attractions, Looe Country Park is the perfect choice. Come and experience a tranquil holiday park where you can truly unwind in the heart of South East Cornwall.

We only stayed one night, and will definitely be back. This is a lovely, well maintained, secure site in a beautiful location. Our camping pod was perfect and even had a TV as well as a kettle with tea and coffee. We knew in advance that we had to bring our own towels and bedding. We could park the car right by our pod, which was one of just two pods on site. The toilets and showers were really good and very clean. The site was mainly for static and touring caravans and also had a play area for kids. It was great to find delicious, wood fired pizza available on a Friday night. The owners were very friendly and very helpfully pointed us to the nearby Tredinnick Farm Shop for a full English breakfast. We booked our stay through AirBnB, but could have saved a few pounds by booking direct - which we'll do next time!
