Found in a quiet, picturesque location a short distance from the main A30 road, Springfield Holiday Park is in the perfect place to feel like you’ve escaped real life, but close enough to everything to enjoy the full Devon and Cornwall holiday experience during your trip.

This family run campsite is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a short distance from the northern boundary of Dartmoor National Park. Guests staying at Springfield Holiday Park will find 40 seasonal pitches in addition to pitches for motorhomes, touring caravans and tents. There are also five static holiday homes that are available for rent.

If you're staying here on your camping, motorhome or caravan holidays in Devon, you'll find that Springfield Holiday Park has an idyllic and luxurious feel to it, with plenty of open spaces for children to enjoy and a play park, too. Additional facilities on site include a heated outdoor pool with a terraced area, a games room with table tennis and snooker, as well as laundry facilities, toilets, basins and showers.

The natural place to start your exploration of the surrounding area is the stunning Dartmoor National Park, where you will discover walking and cycling trails in addition to opportunities to experience horse riding and climbing. The walking and cycling activities vary in difficulty and are available as guided explorations, perfect for those looking to relax and take in the scenery as well as those who want to get active and challenge their fitness levels.

In addition to Dartmoor National Park, guests staying at Springfield Holiday Park will find an array of opportunities to get out and explore their natural surroundings. To the north, the park is surrounded by rolling countryside and hills, with small rivers and streams offering ample exploration opportunities. Visitors looking to keep it simple during their motorhome, camping and caravan holidays can enjoy the short walk into the charming village of Tedburn St Mary to the north, or head down to Cheriton Cross, which sits right on the edge of Dartmoor.

Day trips to the beach are popular, and this site's location means you can get to the north or the south Devon coastline. Generally speaking, the north coast is for surfers and thrill seekers, as the sea is somewhat more lively owing to the Atlantic breeze, while the better sheltered coastline to the south is preferred by swimmers and those looking to explore the beaches and the clifftops. The beaches at Dawlish and at Teignmouth are particularly popular with holidaymakers.

Springfield Holiday Park is a short drive away from the popular cathedral city of Exeter, where guests will find shopping centres, theatres, museums, restaurants and more. A short distance down the coast you will discover the seaside town of Torquay on the English Riviera, while a little further down the road Paignton has a great zoo and has a real traditional seaside feel to it, with seafront arcades, fish and chip shops, market stalls and so much more.

Springfield Holiday Park is a beautiful place to come to kick back, relax and explore the stunning surroundings of Devon and Cornwall at your own pace.

We have a season pitch and make good use of it. It is now under new management (we will see how that pans out) pool is great make for a relaxing times in the sunshine. Could do with a upgrade hear and there a bit more park for the kids and dry/sunshade area by the pool would be good. The site is well maintained and kept spotless by the wardens on site keeping an eye 24 7. We all Love the place.

Very quiet, peaceful caravan and camping park. Not a sound at night! We hired a caravan and were very pleased with it (except for the shower which was very difficult to control). Childrens play equipment is being installed - there is a heated outdoor pool and a games room. Laundry does not charge to use the iron. On-site proprietors keep any trouble at bay (none when we were there). A few cats around which made life interesting - very friendly - check out Oliver!!! Only trouble is quite a way from tourist areas. Two good eating pubs a mile or so up the road.
