Anita's Caravan Park is a beautiful family holiday destination situated on a working farm close to the village of Mollington, in Oxfordshire. The park is open all year with the exception of a short period from just before Christmas to just after New Year, and welcomes guests with caravans, motorhomes, tents, trailer tents, and campervans. A small selection of camping pods for hire is also available at the park and each of these has a decking area. Well behaved dogs are permitted to stay at the park, but must be kept on leads at all times, though an exercising area where they can be let off to run around is provided.
Electric hook ups are available for all pitches, with grass and hard standings available. Most of the pitches are level, however some are gently sloping. All of the pitches are situated in a field that benefits from the shelter of mature hedgerow and woodland. The caravan pitch area is lit during the evening, and the tent camping area is on neatly mown grass, situated close to the toilets.
Facilities available for guests to use at Anita's Caravan Park include a toilet and shower block, washing up area, and Wi-Fi internet. There is an on-site shop selling essentials and groceries as well as camping equipment and accessories. You can order your daily newspapers here. There's even an on-site bakery at Anita's Caravan Park, and you can order your fresh bread and other products here. A small café is also found at the park, ideal for guests looking to enjoy something to eat without having to cook or venture out of the park.
Much of the farm is accessible and guests, especially younger ones, often love getting up close to the animals. The highlight for many children is getting to know the Welsh mountain ponies that live in the fields, although there are also pedigree Suffolk sheep, bantam hens and other animals to be found.
A short walk through the farm garden takes guests to Mollington, where a range of amenities are offered to ensure guests can buy anything they need or enjoy something to eat and drink in the cafés and pubs found there.
Anita's Caravan Park is a wonderful place to stay, where you can relax and spend time with the family, and it also makes a good base for those visiting the wealth of tourist attractions in Oxfordshire and neighbouring Warwickshire.
Visit Stratford-upon-Avon, the popular and gorgeous town that's an essential stop for fans and students of William Shakespeare, which is a short drive away. Also you can visit Warwick Castle, Blenheim Palace, Waddesdon Manor and Waterperry Gardens, all of which are popular tourist attractions found close by. From here you can also go to an additional selection of National Trust Properties and English Heritage Sites within a short drive of the park.
Motorsport fans must visit Silverstone Motor Circuit, which is within reach, while couples who like dressing up elegantly for a day at the races can enjoy a flutter at Towcester Races. This is most popular with guests who haven’t got children with them.
Alternatively, there is always the option of staying close to the park and enjoying walks across the countryside, while riverside walks and woodland trails can also be found close by.
Anita's Caravan Park is a charming place to stay and ideal location for relaxing family holidays, whether tourists are looking for somewhere they can switch off and escape the pressures of life at home, or for a base for exploring some of the tourist attractions in Oxfordshire and beyond.
