Silver Sands Holiday Park is a welcoming family holiday park set close to the beach on the beautiful Moray Coast of Scotland. Known for its temperate climate, Moray enjoys some of the driest weather in the UK thanks to the Gulf Stream. Silver Sands is named after the beach the park opens out onto with its fine white sands that glow silver in the sunlight.
Here you can spot dolphins in the Moray Firth and seals basking in the sun at the top of the bay at nearby Findhorn Beach. Surrounded by miles of sandy beaches and beautiful countryside, it’s the ideal getaway for the whole family.
Whether you stay in one of the holiday homes or bring your own tent, tourer or motorhome, you’ll love the fun-packed facilities on park and the direct access straight onto the fabulous beach. If you enjoy exploring, then you’re in for a treat with lots of sights and attractions nearby.
The first-class facilities at Silver Sands include a heated swimming pool, steam room and sauna plus a state-of-the-art-gym. There is an entertainment venue, a games room, an outdoor adventure playground with zip wire, swings and climbing frames plus a Kids’ Club with a regular programme of activities.
Fun-packed evenings start with a tasty meal in the restaurant, and as the sun sets you can dance the night away with the entertainment team and the regular live bands and family-friendly discos, with refreshments available at a choice of bars. There's also a new on-site electric vehicle charge point.
Burghead Beach is the place to go for water sports and kite surfing while day trips to Aberdeen, Inverness, Elgin and the world-famous Loch Ness are all possible from this great location.

Stayed one night at this site. Great sandy beach. Very large site and probably good for families in the summer and staff friendly but little else to commend it. Paid a premium price of £23 ( in October !! ) with an ELU but then found very outdated toilet and shower facilities. Missing locks on toilet and shower cubicle doors. No hot water after running shower for several minutes. On complaining was told that some showers have hot and cold mixewd up and sometimes turing tap to cold gives hot shower. May have put up with this but not at £23 per night at this time of year. Whiole site felt old and in need of investment.

Have used this site twice. Both last year. Great site. Good facilities, clean and well looked after. Very handy for the beach. Also If you like fast jet aircraft belonging to the RAF (which we do and why we went), then this is the place to go. Site is right under the flight line to the end of the runway and jets go right over the site. Could be a bit noisy during the night if night time flying is on the go, but we really both our stays.
