Street Head Caravan Park

Street Head Caravan Park is a family-run campsite in North Yorkshire. Situated in Newbiggin, Bishopdale, the campsite is right next to The Street Head Inn, so you won't have to walk far for a well-deserved pint or a meal once you've pitched up! Half a mile down the road in Thornalby is a handy village store selling local produce, newspapers, wines and more essentials.

Views from the campsite are of the beautiful hilly countryside of drystone walls, farmland and wild fells. North Yorkshire is a top walking destination and there are many footpaths around Street Head Caravan Park. Follow the signposted paths over the hills and dales, stopping off at the pubs en-route for a healthy and relaxing walking holiday in the Yorkshire Dales.

Facilities on the campsite itself include showers, hand basins, toilets, and a separate block with sinks for washing-up and hand washing clothes. The laundry area has a large coin-operated washing machine, a tumble dryer and an iron and ironing board.

Touring caravans, camper vans, motorhomes, backpacking tents and family tents are all welcome and prices are very reasonable. 10Amp electric hook-ups are available as needed.

It makes sense to look for seasonal pitches if you're planning to take lots of camping holidays in the Yorkshire Dales.
