The open space here isn't just for the dogs – there's lots of room for families to enjoy ball games. There's also a sizeable children’s play area along with a games room. In addition, there is an outdoor swimming pool, which is typically open during the school summer holidays from mid July until the end of August. Guests can buy basic and essential groceries at the site, however there is no bar or clubhouse, ensuring anyone staying at Roseville Holiday Park can enjoy a quiet and relaxing break. In addition, the whole park is nicely surrounded by hedges and woodland.
If you're going to visit Cornwall on your caravan holidays, there's lot to see and do. The small village of Goonhavern is a short walk down the road from this holiday park, where guests will find a welcoming country pub and other local amenities.
The small seaside resort town of Perranporth is a popular destination and just a five-minute drive from Roseville Holiday Park. Enjoy a round of golf at Perranporth Golf Club, learn how to surf at the town's surf school, or just enjoy a day on the beautiful beach. There are also lots of places to enjoy a drink and a bite to eat, so you can have a day away from the kitchen on your caravan holidays. From here you can also join the South West Coast Path – this is a wonderful way to see this area, indeed this is a very popular holiday destination for those who love walking holidays.
For world famous surf, Newquay is just a 10-minute drive away from this campsite. Fistral Beach is a surfing haven, as well as being a stunning beach in its own right. Or if you'd rather tickle your tastebuds, you could take the 30- to 40-minute drive to foodie haven Padstow, made famous by TV chef Rick Stein.
Also within 40 minutes of this campsite is the Eden Project, near Cornwall's south coast. This is a great day out for all the family and there are events running there all year round. There is also a brewery in nearby St Austell which runs interesting – and tasty! – tours.
