We camped here for 16 nights in August 08'. The site was pumping out music/entertainment/firework displays etc etc 20 hours a day, six days a week. We ended up more tired than when we'd arrived! We picked the site for it's rating, location, name and description and we were very disappointed. We have young children and hoped for a relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings with great facilities and whilst we must say that the facilities were excellent and the location is superb the noisey nightclub on the site until 4am six nights a week ruined our enjoyment as it was common to be kept awake by the noise of it and by people milling around after it had finished. We saw lots of under age drinking and smoking. The responses to our polite protestations were 'It's what the French expect' they said, well it's not what we'd expected from a site called 'Douce Quietude'! Unless you can guarantee that you are AT LEAST 250 metres from the main facilities, i wouldn't recommend this site. We ended up getting a 20% reduction to our bill, which was still too little too late.
