RAUZAN is in the heart of the Bordeaux vineyards. At the foot of the impressive remains of the partly 12th century stronghold of Rauzan, and a peaceful valley with an ideal climate you will find space and peace on a fine camping site with a flat, well shaded grassland. A ring of cornfields, vineyards and wooded hillsides is a guarantee for an almost blissful rest. On the campsite you will find a swimming pool, playground for children, hot showers (free), terrace, entertainment in the summer, bikes for hire. Statics for rent! Shops, bank, restaurants, tennis, post office and supermarket at 200 metres from the campsite in Rauzan. A fantastic starting point for quiet walks along small tracks through the vineyards and for day trips. Saint-Emilion, the famous vine village, is 13km from Rauzan. Sites for Mobile Homes for rent. A delightful, peaceful little site. The Dutch owners are extremely welcoming and helpful and of course speak English among other languages. Meals in the little restaurant (or al fresco) with local produce are superb.
