La Vallée des Vignes is situated amongst vineyards and sunflowers close to the famous zoo and rose town of Doué La Fontaine. 20 minutes drive to beautiful Château town of Saumur and 30 minutes from the city of Angers. The campsite boasts 52 individual grand comfort pitches and 11 mobile homes which are for hire. Shade is afforded by mature trees. The sanitary block is well designed and immaculate. An enclosed bar restaurant with veranda borders a 16m x 8m swimming pool.

what a fabulous holiday we had here. everywhere spotlessly clean. excellent shower,wash and toilet facilities which were cleaned daily. always hot water but well regulated so no scolding/freezing spots when showering. we only saw them messy once and this was caused by some youngsters who were messing about with shaving foam but it was soon cleared up by the site warden. the swimming pool was excellent and never saw a bit of litter around it the whole time we were there. the owneres john and leslie are english but with a lot of knowledge of france so they helped us when planning our itinary so we saw the best in the area as there is a lot to see. although we were not there in peak season there was plenty to do for the children.the bar served good food at good prices and was always very friendly i will definately be visiting there again.
