If you want to spend your camping, motorhome and caravan holidays in Hampshire, exploring the county's coastline, countryside and lovely towns, cities and villages, then Hill Cottage Farm Camping & Caravan Park, just outside Fordingbridge and close to the border with Dorset, is a great choice.

This is an award winning campsite that is listed in the Top 100 Sites Guide 2014, a trusted camping guide collated by the teams at Practical Caravan, Practical Motorhome and Caravan Sitefinder to celebrate the best campsites in the UK. As one of just five campsites in the South-East England section of this go-to guide, it surely is one of the best campsites in the region and in the UK as a whole. This site was also a regional winner in the Top 100 Sites Guide 2012. In addition, it has been awarded four-star status by EnjoyEngland, a five-pennant rating from the AA, and in 2012/2013 and 2013/2014 this site received Gold David Bellamy Conservation Awards.

Set in 40 acres of countryside, Hill Cottage Farm Camping & Caravan Park welcomes caravans, campervans, motorhomes, trailer tents and tents, and is open from 1 March until 30 November each year. There are 82 pitches of which 32 are hardstanding. All the site's hardstanding pitches are of a good size, are fully serviced and are screened with hedges, affording guests privacy during their motorhome and caravan holidays. In addition, there are grass pitches with electric hook-ups, with chemical waste and water points nearby. Caravan storage is available, too. In the camping field you'll find 40 electric hook-ups, so even if you're sleeping under canvas, you can still enjoy some of the conveniences that make camping that little bit easier.

Hill Cottage Farm Camping & Caravan Park has a clean and modern amenities block with showers, toilets, basins and facilities for disabled guests. There's also an area where you can do your washing up and a large room for doing your laundry, plus a play area for children, a games room, opportunities for coarse fishing and a woodland walk. The fishing lakes are exclusively for the use of those staying at this campsite. There are three fishing lakes to choose from and accompanied children are allowed to fish at one of these lakes. This is also a dog friendly campsite, with a dedicated dog walking area. However, there's a small fee for your four-legged friend and he or she must be kept on a lead at all times, and away from the children's play area. There is a small on-site shop, too, and Wi-Fi is available.

If you're going to Beaulieu, why not stop at the abbey or, if you're a petrolhead, pay a visit to the Beaulieu National Motor Museum?
