Not a pleasant experience. Poor, run down and shabby facilities. Dirty accommodation and not suitable for children. Filthy beds with no mattress protectors. Complained to the management but got a very aggressive response.

We stopped at White Acres in Newquay and loved it, brilliant for the kids and lots to do! always something to do in the day and the bar is buzzing of a night, great games and pool area, we will definatly be going again. It really was great value for money, we stopped for a week in the school holidays and never went short of things to do. Newquay is lovely and a very pretty area. Probably the best UK holiday resort as its not stuck in the past and not full of OAP's. It has great night life if thats the type of thing your after!
I would defiantly recommend this to my friends but book early to avoid disappointment!
try these guys!

We went to White Acres between 23rd - 30th August 2003.
We were staying in the 'Lake' caravan. On arrival we found the caravan to be clean, modern & well equipped. We had pre-ordered a hamper so collected this from the shop. The only things we used totally from it were the milk, bread and biscuits - the rest we ended up bringing home.
My husband & step-son (who is 13) are fishing enthusiasts and thought the lakes were well stocked with fish and they were happy with the amount they caught. They said the tackle shop was very good but the staff were a bit grumpy.
We thought the evening entertainment was good although the drinks are a little on the pricey side, in fact all of the extras on site were pricey such as the shops & takeaways.
I was going to go to the swimming pool but it was full of small children and as the pool is quite small I didn't bother.
I would have liked somewhere to sit outside (like a garden area with chairs) to have a read other than outside the caravan.
Went on a few days out. Went to the Eden Project and thought it was an expensive garden centre. £10 each for adults!!! Are they mad?? It only takes 2 hours to get around.
Enjoyed Newquay and there is a Somerfield with a cafe if you fancy getting a bite to eat whilst your shopping in the town centre.
All in all a good time was had by all at White Acres and it definitely met up to our expectations.
