I stayed at Uppercarr on a recommendation from a friend, the pitch I was allocated was brilliant near the amenities and plenty of space. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Tried the coffee shop, very good! There is an on site shop which stocks all your immediate needs. Will certainly return and recommend to all my friends.

very helpful staff on site, but on arrival we found our pitch was within 3 meters from kids playground area after requesting differently on booking. Our pitch was beneath very tall massive trees ,all with decease.2 big branches overhanging our caravan. After first night, discovered that these branches had split, resulted in us having to move the van + awnning, for the warden to cut branches for our safety. The restaurant was shut every day at 3pm,also reception.Overcrowded with tents at week end. Noisy at 12.30am,Tent pitched 1 meter away from our caravan with a baby crying at 2 & 6am. I had to wash my car every day because of birds muck on roof and windscreen.Sorry, but I will not be returning again.

what a fantastic friendly park nothing was too much trouble for the staff. the showers were spotless and heated. the grounds of the park were very well maintained and very tidy. the pitches were very well planned and the children's play area was very well positioned. great location for pickering and surrounding areas of scarborough coast. we will be returning next year.

What a great site ideally situated for the coast, York and the beautiful villages of Helmsley and Hutton le Hole. There is such a lot to do in this part of Yorkshire. We would recommend this site the toilets and showers are basic and could perhaps do with modernising but they are kept beautifully clean. The touring pitches are a good size. We loved this site and found the wardens to be friendly and unobtrusive.

Our Overnight stay here was spoilt by a group of roudy campers but dont let you be put off by this park.

Its just outside pickering so perfectly situated for Flamingo Land and York.

There is a Pub and a nothe caravan park along the road (if we had known we would have went to that one as it was a caravan club site)

The toilets are basically portacabin done up to look like a log cabin.

The showers were freezing and a bit Flooded.

We tenting it and we were pitched about 500yds away which was annoying for the obligitaory nidnight pee.

All in all we would use the park again but only if the other park was full.
