Mount's Bay Caravan Park is a small, exclusive, family-run park of 17 caravans, catering for families and couples only, and is just 50 yds from a sandy beach.
Situated on the shores of Mount's Bay facing the beautiful and historic St Michael's Mount, Marazion offers many attractions to holidaymakers and is an ideal centre for seeing Cornwall. Facing south and sheltered from the north winds the semi-circular sweep of the Bay enables visitors to enjoy vistas of the most beautiful part of west Cornwall.

The granite cliffs of Lands' End lie only 13 miles away, with countless coves and standing stones to be seen along the way, as well as the Minack Open-air Theatre and the picturesque harbour of Mousehole.

Penzance is less than 3 miles away (a delightful walk along the sands) offering many attractions to visitors; its tropical gardens are a delight.

Marazion village is approx 400 yds away with plenty to see and do.

WALKS: There are many lovely walks, especially along the cliffs to Perranuthnoe, Prussia Cove, Praa Sands and Porthleven
CYCLING: The "CornishWay" cycle route runs alongside the Park
BIRDWATCHING: Birdwatchers will find much to interest them on the neighbouring Marazion Marshes RSPB Reserve and on the foreshore

The park is in a quiet location on the outskirts of Marazion. Cars are only allowed on site for loading/unloading, with a dedicated car park opposite the entrance to the park. As such the site was ideal for children.

Booking is easy via their website and all my enquiries were answered quickly and efficiently. The park is very easy to find as it is just off the main road going into Marazion. It is a matter of a few yards from Marazion beach, and a five minute walk from the centre of the town and the causeway across to St Michael's Mount.

We stayed in the Torino caravan. Although the van was relatively old it was very clean and well maintained. The site also has a small pool.

The only ciritism I would have about the site was in relation to the opening hours for the pool. We were advised on arrival that it would be open from 9-6 each day. However the days we wanted an early swim we found the pool still closed well after 10am (but days when we didn't want an early swim it always seemed to be open at 9am). We also assumed the pool was closed in early evening, only to find it still open past 7pm.

Overall though it was a very pleasant stay, ideal for those looking for a quiet and child-friendly site, in a great location for exploring the far south of Cornwall.
