Parc Isaf is a smallish nicely kept site for around 20 caravans with an adjoining tent field. It is run in a relaxed and friendly way by the family in the on-site farmhouse. The site is set half way up the hillside above Benar Beach overlooking Cardigan Bay and the views are stunning. It is about a 25 minute walk to the beach downhill but the walk back is all uphill and the last part is fairly steep. Ideal for the outdoor type! Above the site lies 300 acres of beautiful woodland which are a delight to walk through. A new toilet block has just been opened which also has a family washroom and a dishwashing area. I think about 80% of the pitches have electricity. Water points are situated no more than 2 minutes walk away. As the site is on a hillside , not all the pitches are flat. All are grass. Pets are welcome and the usual rules about keeping them on leads apply. There are sheep in nearby fields. There is a well stocked shop about 20 minutes walk down the hill. This is our favourite campsite due to a mix of the amazing views, the small size, the relaxed informality (noisy groups are asked to leave if they cant keep to a sensible level) and the feeling of being able to leave the busy beach behind at the end of the day and return to an oasis of calm for the evening.
