Close to the city of York, in the heart of picturesque Ryedale, Robin Hood Caravan & Camping Park has caravans for hire as well as welcoming touring caravans, motorhomes and tents.
As Visit York’s Caravan Park of the Year in 2015 & 2016, this privately run, family managed park offers the perfect base for exploring the sights of North Yorkshire.
All of the touring pitches at Robin Hood Caravan & Camping Park are fully serviced so whether you choose a grass or gravel base you will have your own water, electric and drainage points. Many of the pitches have TV aerial connection points and it is hoped this will be extended to all pitches by the end of 2017.
A large grassed area is set aside for tents allowing guests to pitch wherever they like. With no marked out pitches, Robin Hood Caravan & Camping Park offer their guests the flexibility of choosing their own pitch.
A centrally heated amenities block provides shower cubicles, plenty of toilet cubicles, shaver points, hair dryers, sinks and private sink cubicles. A pot-wash area and laundry are also available.
Dogs are more than welcome on the park and our rural location ensures a wide variety of walks are available for all our four-legged friends.
Other facilities include wifi, children’s play area, treasure trails, licensed shop and tourist information. Within walking distance of the park you will also find a village shop, The Grapes Inn serving homemade food and real ales and a bus stop with a regular service into Malton from where you can take train/bus into Scarborough, York and beyond.

We have just spent 3 nights camping at Robin Hood and I have to say it was excellent! A very clean and tidy site, with level areas for tents. The staff were helpful and pleasant to deal with. The toilets and showers were always very clean, even considering the site was actulally full at one point! On the down side the lane to the toilets was unlit, which made it quite spookie for those late night trips to the loo. But I would not let that put you off, it gives you more of a great outdoors feeling. Its very well placed for local attractions, and the village is amazing full of quaintness and very friendly villagers, who are more than keen to stop and have a chat with you. We will definately be returning to this family and dog friendly site. Well done to the owners who obviousley work so hard in maintaining the site.

We would like to thank the owners at Robin Hood Caravan Park for a very enjoyable stay. They went out of their way to help us get the most out of our holiday. We found all the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The caravan was in fantastic condition - very clean and tidy. The caravan contained everything we needed for the holiday. We found the site very quiet - just what we needed for a relaxing holiday. We just wish we had longer to stay with you as there is so much to do in the area. We hope to see you again later this year!
