Visited Ashes for a relaxing child free week in October 2013 half term. This is a fantastic friendly site with great views and only a short drive into Kendal and easy access to the Lakes in general. I needed to work for a couple of days of our visit and the owners provide an excellent WIFI service at very reasonable cost. We will be visiting again in 2014.
