Cherry Tree Park is a small and welcoming Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site (CS) in North Yorkshire.

This campsite, which sits on the southern edge of the North York Moors National Park, is open all throughout the year and is close to the town of Helmsley and the village of Nawton, not too far off the A170, making it easy to get to.

Certified Sites are open only to members of the Camping and Caravanning Club, and they are small and privately run sites able to accommodate up to five motorhomes or caravans, and up to 10 tents or trailer tents, unless permission has been granted for more.

At Cherry Tree Park, touring caravans, motorhomes, trailer tents and tents are welcome to pitch on site, while there is also one large, eight-berth static holiday home available for hire throughout the year. The site is adjacent to two acres of land that is available for holding rallies, which can be organised by contacting the park directly.

A small number of hook-ups are available for those requiring electricity while staying at this campsite in North Yorkshire, while aerial pick-ups are also available for those needing their television fix. Additional facilities that are found at Cherry Tree Park include a heated toilet and shower block, and chemical waste disposal facilities, while gas refills are also available.

There are many things to do in the surrounding area, particularly if you venture into the North York Moors National Park or into the Howardian Hills to the south, which is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Guided walking, cycling and horse riding are all available in both locations and offer you the opportunity to experience Yorkshire’s beautiful outdoors from a variety of perspectives. In addition, there are tennis courts 500 yards away from the park, plus guests will find an outdoor swimming pool and golf course three miles away, with an indoor swimming pool and fishing locations around 10 miles from the site – all are just a short drive away.

After a busy day out exploring, when you head back to Cherry Tree Park, there are plenty of places to refresh yourself in the evening. You'll find a bar and pub within 500 yards of the campsite, with a takeaway food outlet just a little further away – all are within walking distance if you wish to leave your car on site.

This campsite is a wonderful location from which to explore the best of North Yorkshire, whether you’re a lover of woodlands and the countryside, the coast, or are looking to visit the popular tourist cities in the area.
