For boating & sea angling there is a slipway and amenity area 180-m from the park on Shannon Estuary and the partk is only 2.4km from Kilrush Marina. Excellent touring base for the superb Atlantic coastal scenery, cliffs of Moher, Lahinch and the Burren. Park is 6 Km from the Killimer-Tarbert car-ferry that link Kerry to Clare and 13Km from Kilkee, famous for its sandy beach and skin diving.

I have a static caravan (mobile) here for a number of years and I have to say it is the most peaceful and safe place, controlled by a fob so there are no drive through visitors. The playground has just been upgraded and is fabulous! There is a small football pitch added as well. Tremendous facilities here. There is a washer and dryer on site and the site is so well maintained with beautiful lawns and flowers and seating is placed at strategic spots so we can sit and admire the beauty of the place. There is private walk down to the sea shore and a shore walk. There are seats there also, and although I don't swim , many people swim here as it safe I am told. This park is peaceful with a mix of single people and seniors and lovely families with very well behaved children. Not a sound after about 9.30 p.m. I sleep so well there and love every minuite of it. Finally the caretaker is excellent very obliging. Highly recommend having a mobile here as it so central 7 mins to the ferry to Kerry and there is so much to do in Co. Clare a great place - on the Wild Atlantic Way
