Long Ashes Park

Long Ashes Park is a stunning holiday park in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The park is managed by the Lakeland Leisure Estates company and is open all throughout the year. The site is beautifully developed and landscaped and is more like a stylish village than a holiday park. Long Ashes Park offers a selection of log cabins, holiday caravans, and residential homes for sale. The park also operates a short camping season from early August to early September, during which time it welcomes guests with tents, touring caravans, and motorhomes onto the site. Pitches are all grass, with no electric hook-ups, however guests are able to take advantage of all the excellent facilities at Long Ashes Park during their stay.

Washrooms are available at the park and these include family bathrooms and wash basins. There is also a laundrette that can be used by camping guests or home owners at the site.

The site has a children’s play park, perfect to help parents entertain small children before and after the days out exploring the Yorkshire Dales. There's a leisure centre at Long Ashes Park itself, which is also popular with those staying at the park. This has a heated indoor swimming pool that is great for serious swimming as well as for families looking to have fun and splash around.

The leisure centre facility also has a fully equipped gym with a great range of cardio equipment to get your heart pumping and weights to help you build muscle strength, and there is also a steam room, sauna, and Jacuzzi, all ideal for winding down after a workout, but also on hand for guests simply looking to relax without the exertion beforehand! Personal trainers are available at the gym at Long Ashes Park, too, so guests can keep up their fitness regime with a familiar face throughout the year, whether they’re residing at the park permanently or returning several times a year.

In addition to the gym, you can enjoy the Long Ashes Pure Spa facility, where you will be welcome to treat yourselves to a wide range of treatments, from simple facials and manicures to full-on body detoxes, massages, and more.

The pampering doesn’t stop there, either, because there is also a hair salon on-site where you can get a new cut and make yourselves look stylish, so that you return from your holiday looking and feeling absolutely fabulous.

There is a coffee lounge on-site too, which is a lovely place to meet friends, make friends and relax with a good brew during the day. The Yorkshire Dales offers miles of trails that are perfect for walking, while cycling and horse riding is also available from numerous locations. As well as being filled with beautiful moorlands, the Yorkshire Dales also hosts a number of great villages and towns. Visit Grassington, Kettlewell, and Skipton, which are all within 10 miles of the site. Skipton is a famous market town which has some great pubs, while the nearest larger town is Harrogate, 26 miles away, but well worth the drive.
