Vale Royal River Park

Vale Royal River Park is a family run holiday park with 100 privately owned static holiday caravans on site. The park sits on the banks of the River Weaver, and offers a private section of the river that guests can use for fishing during their stay. The park is open annually from mid-March until early January, with families and pets welcome.

The park makes clear to owners that, while they are able to visit the site as often as they wish throughout the open season, it is licensed as a holiday park and cannot be used as a permanent residence. All of the holiday caravans at Vale Royal are fully serviced, while gas is available at the park reception.

Vale Royal River Park’s nearest village is Moulton, where guests can find a range of local amenities including shops and a pub, while the nearest towns, Northwich and Winsford, both have a wider range of places to visit and plenty of shops to choose from, including supermarkets.

As well as enjoying a private stretch of the River Weaver for anglers, the park also has two fishing ponds on-site, both of which are well stocked with an abundance of fish.

Vale Royal River Park also sits on the edge of the large Weaver Valley Country Park, giving guests an ideal opportunity to explore and discover the landscape and wildlife in the surrounding area. Country walks and cycling are both immensely popular with guests who stay at Vale Royal.

The park is brilliantly located in the heart of Cheshire, meaning guests have a variety of options should they wish to head out beyond the local area and look for fun and adventure. Visit the Peak District National Park, which is a short drive to the east, where you will discover a wide range of activities including climbing and abseiling, in addition to miles of land ideal for exploring at leisure. Close to the Peak District is the famous Alton Towers Theme Park and Resort, which is always a wonderful place for a family day out.

Owners enjoying an extended stay in their caravans at Vale Royal River Park often choose to take a holiday within a holiday and spend a weekend at Alton Towers, staying in the resort hotel.

To the north, guests have a short drive to Liverpool and Manchester, both brilliant, vibrant cities with plenty going on. Shopping, along with other leisure and entertainment facilities, is often the big attraction, but both places are worth heading to just so guests can say they’ve spent a day in the city.

The north coast of Wales is also a short drive away, where there is everything to be found from quaint seaside villages to bustling resorts crammed with tourists enjoying the beachfront along with amusements and fairground rides.

Closer to Vale Royal, any guests not wanting to travel too far have a number of charming country towns and villages they can discover.
