Cliff Farm Holidays is an immaculately kept site, located on a working farm, with wonderful views over the North York Moors.

Close to the village of Sinnington, on the A170 between Kirkbymoorside and Pickering in North Yorkshire, you will find Cliff Farm Holidays. This site offers a variety of accommodation options for people visiting this beautiful part of the country – there is a caravan park, a camping barn and two holiday homes.

Starting with the caravan park, there are 18 pitches, well-spaced from each other, and all have electric hook-ups and all are hardstanding. Guests have the use of a toilet and shower block that includes a family/disabled facility. There's also a laundry room and a covered washing up area. It's a dog friendly site with a dog walk, but please keep your dogs on a lead at all times and clean up after them – a dog waste bin is provided, so there are no excuses! If you need gas you can buy it on site. There are also recycling facilities.

Then there are two modern holiday homes, these being two six-berth static caravans. Each caravan has a fully equipped kitchen, plus electricity, mains water and bottled gas are provided – all you need to bring is your linen and towels. Both static caravans are double glazed and have central heating, so you'll be cosy whatever time of the year you choose for your holidays in North Yorkshire.

Or how about the camping barn at Cliff Farm Holidays that can sleep up to 12 people? Three people sleep on the ground floor, a further nine accommodated on the first floor. It is certainly a different option for your camping holidays. Single mattresses are provided, but you will need to bring your sleeping bags! There's a basic kitchen, a dining area and the barn is heated by electric oil filled radiators, while you can perform your ablutions in the neighbouring building – there is also a metered shower.

All this and you have the joy of staying on a working beef and arable farm, covering 120 acres. And you can meet the farm's dogs, cats and donkeys, too. Don't have a bike? Then you can hire one, and the cycling trails cater for all ages and abilities.

Or you could jump on the A170 and drive east, and in just 45 minutes you could be in the famous seaside town of Scarborough. Or drive down to York – you should be able to do it in just under an hour – and take in this historic, walled, university city.
