Manor Park is a holiday lodge park with a private lake on site which makes Manor Park a peaceful holiday homes destination that's part of the Nelson Parks group.

Open all year, there are 27 holiday lodges at Manor Park and if you're interested in becoming a holiday home owner at this park, you should contact Manor Park or Nelson Parks directly to see what they can offer as Manor Park is now Sold out!

It is a super place to make your permanent holiday retreat if you love fishing. This is because, at the centre of Manor Park, there is a private and very well stocked fishing lake, so those spending their holidays here can enjoy time fishing without travelling far at all. Some of the holiday lodges are even beside the lake.

Every holiday lodge at this park has its very own parking area, plus there's separate visitor parking, too. In addition, and so everyone can truly relax on their holidays, there's a secure entrance to this park.

If you're heading off site, there are lots of things to do in North Yorkshire, whatever you like doing. Castle Howard is about a 20-minute drive from this park, plus the National Trust administered Beningbrough Hall and Gardens is less than a half hour drive from Manor Park and, if you enjoy your time there, you might also want to go to the Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Water Garden – this is another National Trust property in the area, about an hour from this park, near Ripon.

You can also visit York, which is just over 15 minutes by car from Manor Park. In this historic city there is so much to do. Tour the York Minster, lose yourself in the York Maze, wander through The Shambles, go to the Jorvik Viking Centre, walk the city walls, head to the castle and much more.

If your time in York inspires you, you might also like to visit Ripon and its cathedral, which is less than an hour from this holiday park by car. Alternately, the spa town of Harrogate is about a 50-minute drive away, the RHS Garden Harlow Carr one of the top attractions, while Leeds is also about 50 minutes or so away. Or does a day beside the seaside appeal? Visit Scarborough, as this traditional seaside town is also about an hour's drive from Manor Park.

To break free from the region's cities, this holiday park is well placed if you want to explore the Howardian Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this a great place for walking and cycling – and canoeing, if you fancy it. If you're happy to venture a little further afield, the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the North York Moors National Park and the Yorkshire Dales National Park are all waiting to be discovered.

So no matter what your interests are, if you choose to spend your holidays in Yorkshire at Manor Park, there are plenty of things to do.
