Nunnington Farm Camping Site is a lovely, family-run site in West Sussex, open every year between Easter and the second week in October. Guests with touring caravans, motorhomes and tents (up to seven metres) are all welcome to pitch at this five-acre site. The pitches are clearly marked and many enjoy the convenience of an electric hook-up (for an extra fee of £3).

The campsite has a modern amenities block with toilets, basins and hot showers, as well as a baby's bath and facilities for disabled visitors. There's also a place to get your washing up done, as well as a laundry with washers and dryers. This is also a dog friendly campsite with a dedicated dog walking area where your four-legged friends can enjoy time off the lead, but the rest of the time please keep dogs on their leads and under control, and clear up after them.

Nunnington Farm Camping Site also has a Pet Park. Why not take the time to meet the donkeys, goats, horses, cows and many more during your stay.

Stay here and you're just a short wander from the little village of West Wittering and Blue Flag beaches, making this a great place to relax and get away from it all on your camping and caravan holidays in West Sussex. West Wittering beach also boasts a Beach Award from the Tidy Britain Group for its cleanliness and facilities. The peaceful and pretty Sussex countryside is on your doorstep too, peppered with country pubs where you can find sustenance whatever time of year you visit.

This is a charming site to stay at if you want to explore not only West Sussex but also Hampshire when on your holidays. You're right on the south coast of England, but only around a 25-minute drive from the delightful cathedral city of Chichester (also handy for topping up your holiday essentials) and there's the Chichester Harbour Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, too. Enjoy boat trips in the harbour, walks and bird watching, or maybe visit the Fishbourne Roman Palace, which sits on the edge of Chichester.

The super sweet village of Bosham is about 10 miles or a 25-minute drive from this campsite and is well worth a few hours of your time. Goodwood House and Goodwood Racecourse are only around half an hour away by car, as are the seaside resort of Bognor Regis and Portsmouth with its historic dockyard and Spinnaker Tower, while Arundel and its famous castle are a little further afield. The South Downs National Park is also just waiting to be explored on your motorhome, camping and caravan holidays, whether by car, on foot or on two wheels, and you can also pay a visit to Kingley Vale National Nature Reserve, Queen Elizabeth Country Park and Butser Hill National Nature Reserve.

For something a little different, you could enjoy the approximately one-hour drive to Southampton then catch a ferry and visit the Isle of Wight, maybe taking in the famous Needles and Osborne House. While the Cass Sculpture Foundation is rather closer (about a half hour drive from this campsite), and will make for another interesting day out.
