Silverbow Country Park

Silverbow Park is a beautiful holiday destination outside the village of Goonhavern, close to the Cornwall coast. The park welcomes motorhomes, touring caravans, and tents. Two holiday lodges for hire are also found at the site, and these are available to rent all year round.

The park only accepts bookings from couples and families in order to maintain a quiet and tranquil ambience.
Fully serviced pitches are available at Silverbow Park, while additional facilities include toilet and shower blocks, a laundrette, and washing up room, while a handy, well-stocked on-site shop enables guests to replenish holiday essentials as well as pick up toys and gas canisters.

There is plenty to do at Silverbow Park, with activities and amenities for the whole family to enjoy. The heated swimming pool and adjoining paddling pool sits in a beautiful walled garden area, complete with colourful flowerbeds and populated with sun loungers so everyone can chill out and relax. There are two hard tennis courts, in addition to eight acres of fields that can be used recreationally. Two acres of this space features well mown grass specifically so the area can be used for ball games and other activities such as badminton. Bowls is also available, while a games room is on the site for use between 9am and 10pm daily.

Guests staying at Silverbow Park will find a range of walking and cycling routes that head out from the park. There are many options for exploring the local area, with open countryside and farmland easy to explore as well as quiet roads that are safely negotiated both on foot and on two wheels.

The park is close to the St. Agnes Heritage Coast area, with stunning views available out across the sea, while the South West Coastal Path can be picked up and explored at leisure. A short drive to the north will take guests to the thriving towns of the north Cornwall coast, with Newquay being the most famous owing to its popularity as a surfing hotspot and for its lively nightlife. Quieter towns in the area that are worth a visit include Padstow, Wadebridge, and Polzeath, all offering their own quirks and places to visit.

Truro is the only city in Cornwall and is the southernmost city in the UK, and has a beautiful cathedral that is open to tourists. Truro is also famous for its cobbled streets, and there is a diverse combination of independent stores, popular chains and brand outlets, as well as pubs and other places where you can easily grab something to eat and a drink.

World famous attractions just a short drive from Silverbow Park include Land’s End, the Eden Project, and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. There are also several Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Cornwall – and they're close to Silverbow Park, so it's worth setting off to explore these during your Cornish holidays.
