Solent is part of an area, which is dominated by two great Cities, Winchester, a Saxon and Norman Capital of England for centuries and Southampton, once a Norman seaport and still a busy maritime centre. Trout streams and rivers flow down to inlets on the Solent. These are just some of the attractions that await you in this Hampshire coast area of the New Forest, home to deer and ponies. Warsash, just a short distance away, is a yachting centre where low tide reveals shipwrecks, canon and musket balls. This whole area is steeped in English maritime history. Portsmouths great dockyard is a treasure house of Britains maritime history.
There is plenty of tourist attractions and places worth visiting:
- Marwell Zoo
- Manor Farm Country Park
- Go Ape!
- Portsmouth Historic Dockyard
- Red House Museum
- Spinnaker Tower
- Blue Reef Aquarium
- Isle of Wight
- Portchester Castle
- New Forest Activities
..and many more!
There is also plenty of local events every month, from various festivals to different markets and car boot sales.
Plenty of places to take a nice relaxing walk across the cliff tops, beach and fields, which are always filled with colour specially when it’s in season.
Local towns of Warsash and Lee-On-Solent are accessible via these walks.
Fantastic views and a superb location. Staff are very friendly which makes it all the more enjoyable.

We decided for a change to be half board and have time off cooking. What a good decision. The food was very excellent. I found it hard to choose what to have. The mobile home was clean and in good order. Very pleased with the accomodation. They only complaint we had was that we didn't stay long enough and the weather. The pool was lovely once we were in but it did blow a gale out of the pool, so being an outside pool in this current weather wasn't good. The children still had a great time in the water and we managed to avoid colds, so bonus! The entertainment was good too

stayed here with my partner mon-fri. had trouble finding the park with the postcode provided. took us down a dirt track. had to ring the park for directions.lovely silver caravan but crack in bedroom window. got moved next day to a lovely gold caravan twice as big. dianne (manager) was great, went far and beyond normal service.staff very friendly. always asking if eveything okay. park had a lovely quiet location.great views and walks nearby enjoyed ourselves. did not like the speed bumps though. put hook lane warsash in your sat nav, not the postcode of the park .will definetely come again.

The site was fine. The views were excellent, with so much going on in the Solent.
One big downside, speed bumps. Every time we went onto the park, 25 speedbumps, every time we drove off the park, 25 speed bumps. In four days of going out, we encountered 300 speed bumps. We will never go there again unless these bumps are removed. Sorry, but they are a nightmare.

Clean, well equipped caravan on a lovely small park with friendly staff and fantastic views.
Everything Haven & the like is not which is why we chose it & we were not disappointed on our long weekend.
A couple of points to note:
If using a satnav to get there dont use the postcode as your destination, put Chilling lane in instead.
The swimming pool opens at 10.30 - 12.00 then 14.00-16.00. We were a little disappointed that it didnt open all day.
The Bar closes quite early. 10.30pm Mon-Wed, 11.00 Thur-Sat and 10pm on Sun.
The entertainment was aimed at very young children ( who seemed to love it) and girls up to about 10.
There are a couple of sweet grab machines and a pool table in the bar for the children and 2 or 3 machines for over 18s.
There is an excellent play area next to the tennis court which doesn't seem to be on the park map which is suitable for children up to about the age of 10yrs.
