Ok, not all people are welcome at this site.
Revellers partygoers and noisy groups may not like this site, as they would most likely be asked to calm down or leave, or at the very least not return.
This is because this site is special. The moment you arrive, you are greeted by the most pleasant husband and wife team, with genuine smiles.
The pitches are like a bowling green, luscious green with a feeling of pure spaciousness. Surrounded by calming trees and wildlife the area is situated alongside a clean flowing river, with long or short walks available to take in the ambience of this peaceful, unspoilt area.
Children are welcome, as are dogs on leads, and the walled garden pitches give a safe play area for children of all ages, with even a small court or two for badminton!
Toilets, hot showers and washing facilities are in a well-lit (but not glaring) block, with chemical toilet and water waste disposal in helpful but discrete proximity.
Access to water is nearby wherever you are, with taps situated in the centre of the field to save a walk to the shower/toilet block. Many pitches have electric hookup.
I must say that the toilets and showers are inspected and cleaned with regularity, and are a credit to the site.
The shop is well stocked, and offers gas and other essentials, so you need not leave the site if you wish for a relaxing break.
Every person on this site is made to feel special, and the calm tranquillity is a tonic in this age of fast everything.
There are towns and attractions within a short distance, and this would be an ideal site to use as a base for touring Wales, but if you hanker for a quiet restful break in harmony with like-minded people, this is definitely worth a visit.
